Our tour group stopped here for one night. Staff was helpful and friendly for our group. WiFi in rooms normally is not free but since our room 110 was above the office, we got good reception for free. The buffet dinner and breakfast were good.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We are working hard to provide free WiFi across the hotel and will have this in place by the end of this week. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your tour in New Zealand and come back soon.

Ten of us called in for dinner. The male waiter was good, the women were NOT. A smile and some enthusiasm would have been good. Found meals to be quite expensive for so so food and I am definitely not fussy. Lady started to clear our plates when some were still eating, that's just so rude so I asked her...

Looks good from the outside but this is defiantly where it stops. The rooms are outdated and the beds need replacing. We paid good money at the restaurant for a meal and the lamb shanks where boiled in water. They came out grey and awful. They wanted payment for Internet which is the only hotel in our holiday which did...

WiFi was an issue in almost all of the places we stayed at in New Zealand - often frustrating if you needed to catch up on emails but here it was reasonably ok. I would class this as a motel given the layout and it was clean with friendly staff. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the bed was...

We stayed here for one night. I only have two important thing that I would like so it's not much to ask. A comfy bed and a good shower. Well we got the comfy bed but the shower was terrible (maybe that was just our room) and my other complaint was someone knocking on yr door at 8.30 to collect...

Not a motel and not really a hotel. Barely any alternates in town. I would pass through. This motel joins a list I would never stay in voluntarily again as it charges 5 NZ dollars for Wifi – a disgrace and out of date in this era.

It's a nice and clean hotel, the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was good. Everything in the room worked. My only problem was with paid internet, hotel of this class should offer a free wifi access.

Large hotel for location, rather in the motel style, probably due for a revamp but none the the worse for that, rooms where clean and tidy, and equipped in the touring hotel manner. Buffett style food in a large dinning room again more than adequate. Ideal for exploring the area.

We did not expect much for such a small town, but this hotel was a delightful surprise. The rooms were large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Flat screen TV and while WiFi was limited, it was adequate for a quick check of emails and messages. The staff was friendly and helpful. The setting was lovely. We certainly would...

We stayed here as part of a large group. The restaurant service was friendly and efficient (maybe sometimes too quick to remove our plates).....food was a plenty from the buffet and there was a good selection. The rooms although clean are dated and need some attention. The beds had that 'role in the middle' thing happening, the carpets were worn...
