My husband and I stayed at the Bell Tower on Dog Point for two nights during our honeymoon. Even though it was winter, it was very mild, and the vineyards were beautiful. The staff were wonderful, fixing us pre-dinner glasses of wine and driving us into Blenheim both nights for dinner, with good recommendations on where to go. Our room... More

We had a three night stay here - by ourselves - but none the worse for that. The accommodation and views were stunning. The service provided by Hilary and Karen was peerless. Professional and kind. Top notch attention to detail and an amazing breakfast. Home made muffins. The choice of four sorts of bread from two different suppliers! A really... More

The Bell Tower is an absolute gem! We had a 2 night stay at The French Barn and did not want to leave. I am not sure where to start because everything was wonderful. We were greeted by Hilary who showed us around and could not have been more helpful or welcoming. (She even drove us to our lunch destination... More

Bell Tower on Dog Point was a wonderful place to stay. Hillary & Karen made sure everything was taken care of. The breakfasts were wonderful. We walked around in the vineyard and watched them getting ready to start the harvest. Our room was lovely and we had the entire place to ourselves. The people in New Zealand are all so... More

We stayed in the French Barn, and loved every minute. It offered real tranquility, elegance and space, which suited both the adults and the children. A beautiful building that has been decorated with real thought and skill. Views were stunning, and the fridge was stocked with beautiful, high quality goods. Most importantly, the team at Dog Point went out of... More

The property itself is marvellous but being the only guests staying here was a little disconcerting. It took us a while to find anyone when we arrived and we thought the place was deserted, however someone came along eventually and let us in. We took our own bags in whilst the lady who had met us made a cup of... More

My husband and I stayed in the French Barn while biking in the wine region. Stunning grounds, lovely hosts (who drove us into Blenheim so we could get some groceries to BBQ that evening), and a perfectly relaxing atmosphere. A fully stocked kitchenette so we could make breakfast, and snacks for the day ahead of biking. If we ever are... More
