I'm afraid we were very disappointed with this property. We were in the en-suite double bedroom in the main house and to get to it you enter the house through the hosts living room to reach it. The room itself was very stark, unwelcoming and tight with no storage space. The bathroom was extremely tight, approx 2m x 1m, although...

My wife and I stayed at Ropatinis in October 2010. Trish and Colin were very friendly. Our room was basic, but comfortable. The only things we were not that happy about were these points - Our bathroom window did not have a curtain. This meant that people from outside could see in. - The shower did not have any separation...

My partner and I had a really good experience here with our hosts Trish and Colin. They provided a wealth of information about the area. Very helpful. The warmth of their hospitality was really appreciated. We ordered our evening meal here and it was great! Home style cooking and plenty of it. Great value. The room was really well appointed...

We arrived at Ropatini's B&B in pelting rain, to a very warm welcome from Trish. She kindly upgraded us to the purpose built unit in the grounds of the establishment. Delicious cake, warm conversation , and the offer of umbrellas won us over from the start.. We took up her recommendation to go on the Minehaha walk which was great....

You will not disappoint by staying here. We are very happy with the stay. Trish and Collin are very helpful. The dinner was great, excellent home made food( even better than some of the restaurants in town) and plenty of food available. Breakfast offers a range of varieties. It was great to meet other guests and talk about their Nz...

Ropatini’s B&B Trish and Colin made us very welcome – there are great views of Mounts Cook and Aspiring, and about 10 minutes drive down the road they are on is a simply incredible view of the whole mountain range. We stayed two nights in one of the two rooms in a purpose built unit which is about 20 metres...

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. Trish and Collin create a relaxed atmosphere, and offered us lots of useful tips about what to do, based on their extensive experience in the tourist industry in the area. We had booked an evening meal with them, and were not disappointed: a lamb shank each (enough for...

Fox is a lovely place to visit and we would highly recommend it for glacier trips and the lovely Lake Matheson. The excellent location of this B&B helped us to make the most of our stay. And whilst most things were fine, we never quite felt that as much effort was put into this B&B as in the others which...

At $240 per night, the studio room represented the poorest vale of any place we stayed at in NZ. Otherwise ok.
