Stayed for 2 nights in a one bedroom chalet that was just average in terms of furniture and very limited for space. There were only two of us and we struggled to unpack and store our clothing - don't know how 4 people would cope....More

A camping park similar to the KOAs in the states. Ive been to several camping parks in my life, and would approach them initially with an average rating when I first arrive. They are what they are: camping vans parked almost on top of each...More

I have visited the area many times and have never known them to be much of a problem, certainly not like Milford Sound. As people have mentioned, they are more of a problem near the coast, and in warmer months - Oct - April.
