We stayed the night here and had a spacious area with kitchen and small sitting area. The glass front allows lots of light and it was possible to bring the car right up to the door. The bathroom is a good size and the shower was hot and pressure was good. We were given a lovely welcome by the receptionist...

Stayed here on a trip through the South Island. It was a great stopping place for us. The rooms were spacious, clean and situated in a great location. It has great views of the surrounding mountains. It's nothing fancy, but was a highly enjoyable stay.

Location is excellent, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were perfect: a good size sitting/dining room, a comfortable bed, decent shower, laundry facilities near by, easy parking, good value. Excellent views from the room as well.

This was the least noteworthy if our accomodations during our 17 day stay in NZ..a short walk to dining up the block was a plus. Bed was a bit mushy. Overall a decent stay but not close to the other cabins and motels we slept at

Friendly team to help you settle in, nice rooms, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Laundry for guest use, comfy beds and a beautiful garden with amazing mountain views. We ate outside as much as possible to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Recommend you bring your supplies with you as local supermarket expensive.

I had quite a lot of trouble finding a motel in Fox Glacier or Franz Josef. A lot of the ones I liked were fully booked. However Rainforest Motel was a good choice. It is within easy walk of the shops and restaurants and we had a potentially fantastic view of the mountains if it was not for the low...

While the manager is a very friendly pleasant and helpful guy who pointed us toward best place to eat and things to see, the motel is basically just functional. We experienced a heavy downpour and we're stuck in our room for a full day. Very drab place, in desperate need of a good scrubbing and updating. This was our first...

The staff were really helpful, pointing out local things to see, including a glow worm walk we would otherwise have missed. The unit was clean with everything we needed and the bathroom looked like it had been refurbished recently. And the view outside our room was stunning. See attached photo, the motel is on the left and I'm standing just...

Our unit was very compact and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us the opportunity to cook a pizza rather than having to pay for a meal out which made a nice, cosy change. Clean and comfortable, we would certainly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed two nights at the Rainforest Motel. The location couldn't be better. Within easy reach of Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson, with a glow worm forest track a short stroll away. The apartments are clean and well maintained. Spectacular views, and everything you'd need for your stay. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend the...
