Amazing beauty, peaceful remote vibes and great waters to explore. I had a great stay and Hans and staff were lovely, the food was perfect and the organic feeling island bungalow was bliss, my balcony over the water with hammock was amazing to relax after snorkelling in front of the resort. Thanks sanbis and beautiful solomons. Jay

Hi Hans, here is my review as promised, a few months late no doubt... The 10 days at Sanbis has to be my absolute favorite holiday to date. The whole experience was amazing! Just the journey getting there was an eye opener. Once you get there, you truly feel like you are at the ends of the earth! It is...

Yes it is an eco resort and the rooms are locally built and the ensures are well appointed but, the food is over priced for what it was, we could have been eating in Pt Douglas for the cost. Salt water mixed with freshwater in the showers. Put washing in and received a shirt back that stank worse then before...

We had booked for our second time with Sanbis....we loved our first stay there and was so looking forward to our 2nd stay. Unfortunately, due to Solomon Airlines dismantling all services to and from the Solomons we had to face the task of cancelling our holiday as there through no fault of the resort. Hans spoke to us and tried...

We had a blissful 7 days at Sanbis Resort, Gizo, Solomon Islands. Hans & all his staff are very obliging, accommodating & happy=go=lucky bunch of people. Not far from Australia, it only takes a couple of hours by plane & boat. So, not a draining flight. I was particularly pleased that QANTAS maintains all aircraft, mechanically, on behalf of Solomon...

Been here 4 times over about 10 years. Best fun place to stay in The Islands. Heaps to do, stunning place, very relaxed, tremendous staff and an incredibly fun, hospitable owner who makes us feel very welcome every time. If you want entertainment and laughs, or alternatively quiet and solitude, go, go, go! If you expect 5-star service with a...

Sanbis is incredible. Just returned from 10 days there with some friends on a surfing and diving trip. So good!! The island surrounded by amazing reef with kolombangara in the distance is paradise. The little bar on the water is probably one of the best in the world. Accommodation is comfortable and unpretentious, food was so so good and there's...

Dear Gail I think the feeling is mutual and after consulting with staff it looks like we all are quite happy for you to enjoy your next holiday elsewhere. Your opinion on us, is in contrast to many of our repeat guests and I have no inclination to waste my (what you describe as lack of) social skills on replying...
