This is a stunning location for a resort. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is good. But the best part of the experience are the staff. They were friendly and helpful, and great with kids. They really made the stay a most memorable one! Even though the weather was not particularly kind.

An amazing place to relax in the middle the Pacific Ocean, with really friendly staff. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable - I really enjoyed my stay there. The reef just under the building is clean and a nice place to just snorkel with loads of canoes and paddle boards etc to use. The bar is well stocked. The...

Fatboys is probably one of the most remote places we have stayed, but don't let that put you off. A great place to relax and do nothing or go diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good too especially considering how difficult it must be to acquire some ingredients. Our favourite meal was...

Thankyou to Mano, Panda, Timothy and all the family/staff at Fatboys for one of the best holidays we have ever had. In a world where the exotic, different and unspoilt is becoming difficult to find, it is a pleasure to discover a place like Fatboys! We have just spent 12 nights at Fatboys and there were so many highlights. Playing...

Fatboys is a great little resort, in lovely quiet unspoilt part of the world. The staff are genuinely lovely and will always greet you with a real smile and be happy to help in any way they can. I would best describe it as grungy luxury. This is not a polished 5 star resort with air-conditioning and a fancy spa....

The airport is on an island of its own, so your journey to your accommodation will start with a boat ride. The resort has a maximum of 21 guests who are accommodated in pretty wooden huts with leaf roofs. The hut sizes include the two-person over-water honeymoon suite and the two-bed semi for five that we stayed in (queen bed...

We were 7 little Australians (all over 50 and beyond). Only 1 had ventured into the Solomons (1988) but never to Fatboys. From the moment we arrived at the little wharf until the day we reluctantly departed, we had the absolute best time ever. Fatboys is pure paradise, snorkelling around the restaurant, over at Kennedy Island and the other islands...

My husband and I have always been interested in travelling to the Solomons and recently went for his 50th birthday. and our expectations were exceeded. Staying at Fatboys you are treated so well this review probably can't do it justice. From the time you are greeted at Gizo airport the personalised Fatboys experience begins. You are transported safely by boat...
