Originally, I was happy to book this hotel because of the great location. Unfortunately, booking a room turned out to be difficult. You can only book 'King or 2 Queens'. I emailed and asked for two queens and got no response. Arrived from Australia to be given a King room. When I questioned this they told me nothing is guaranteed....

Dear SVHWOS, Thank you for sharing your most recent experience with us here at the Salt Lake Marriott City Center. I am sorry to hear of the challenges you had during your stay. In reviewing the last several weeks’ history, I am unable to locate any Friday’s with a lack of double-doubles being available for guests. I would appreciate a...

If I'm headed to London or NYC, I expect a smaller regular hotel room. But Salt Lake? I was surprised at the size of one of their regular rooms, especially for what seems to be a newer hotel. It's in a central location, and it's clean. The service was just good.

Dear RalphandMark, Thank you for taking the time to share your most recent experience with us. I am sorry to hear that the square footage of your room was less than satisfactory during your stay. We are happy to announce the property will be going through a renovation in the near future. Once complete, this may give the room a...

You can't beat the location of this hotel right in downtown SLC. Check-in went smoothly and we found our room clean and comfortable with a good view of downtown. The room had many amenities as one would expect. The club lounge was unfortunately closed for the weekend however we were offered a coupon for the restaurant. For the price this...

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. I was very sick while I was traveling and was not exacted about my trip. However, when I arrived, I was greeted with a great staff and was quickly checked into my room where I was able to relax in the big comfortable bed, the roomy and spotless shower, and a...

This is a beautiful hotel -- following along with the Marriott standard. But this hotel is set apart because of their manager, Doug Koob and his staff. He has produced a culture where customers are treated with great respect and if their is a problem-- he makes sure it is solved! Not "anybody" can be so kind to a "nobody"...

This hotel is great! I loved my room. Comfortable bed, plenty of counter space in the bathroom. My only negative was the so called coffee pot inside the dresser. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Stayed one night for the NCAA tournament. This is a nice Marriott for either business or visiting SLC. Good-sized room and nice, large bathroom. Nice HDTV and many HD channels. Good desk and wifi. Exceptional service and great breakfast in the spacious concierge lounge. Would definitely stay here again when in SLC (and as a Marriott and SPG Gold, this...

This hotel is in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. The majestic mountains can be viewed from nearly every level. Local shopping and dining are all within walking distance. The Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center and the Vivint Smart Home Arena (Utah Jazz) are both within walking distance. Visitors can also visit the 2002 Olympic museum, LDS...

The Salt Lake City Marriott City Center isn't the fanciest Marriott, but it is comfortable and convenient to the Salt Palace Convention Center and many restaurants and bars. It is also close to Maverick's--a large convenience store. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. I especially love the in room desks and free Wifi...they make working...

Stayed three days for business. Enter lobby through rotating door with bellmen greeting and assisting. Friendly staff welcome you to their hotel. First floor has lobby area and casual sitting areas. The 2nd floor is used mainly for business meetings and conventions. Rooms expend to the 11th floor (special VIP access for 10th and 11th floor). Views from the room...
