I assume you're talking about a domestic flight - I should think you could make it. You can also ask for an earlier meal - don't remember whether they could pack something for you, but you might ask. We used a regular cab... More

They do offer a military discount if this applies to any of your party. I believe it's 10%. Except for the solo room, room rates are considered double occupancy.
