Econo lodge was average hotel! Great for one night! It was clean what is the most important! It was tv in the room, mini fridge, parking spot. Close to walk around, i even walked to downtown. I highly recommend this hotel with not wow expectations!

Arrived on Monday, May 18, 2016 at about 6:00 pm to check in with our pre-arranged reservation. The hotel claims to be newly renovated however, appeared to be a transient hotel. The people lurking in the parking lot appeared to be less than upstanding citizens. Upon entering our room, it was crawling with ants. We went to the front desk...

I'm so sorry as I love giving good reviews, but I just can't do it for this place. It is desperately needing a revamp of their entire place. Carpets, walls, bathrooms...Yuck! The "free continental breakfast" was very skimpy. With all the hotels out there to choose from, even at inexpensive prices, a hotel really needs to step up their game...

asking for a no smoking room and getting one to sleep in is another story at E cono Lodge, North Temple. I checked in on 6th to find a room heavily disguised as a non smoking room. Even the mattress smelled like smoke, rug definitely. Curtain was soaked in the smell of smoke. Even then I had to sign a...

We booked this as we were on a budget and it was close to the city! We didn't check any reviews! Let me just say we now check TripAdvisor reviews for every hotel now. The room stank really bad of the stuff they use to cover up cigarette smoke. The other patrons were long term renters and all seemed to...

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at! The sheets had urine stains on one bed and body hair on the other (picked the lesser of 2 evils), after an 11 hour travel day was exhausted and needed to sleep. Had stayed there in the past but never again. Upon getting up in the morning there was...

We were late getting in to Salt Lake City and it was raining. We were tired so we stopped. It was clean in the room BUT the breakfast room was terrible. Poor food with bitter coffee. Parking lot was dirty. Lots of big trucks. Chairs in lobby were soiled. NO ECONO. LODGE FOR US. AGAIN.

After an arduous day of mishaps on the part of our airline (Delta) and several missed connections, the airline decided to put us up here for the night (though I'm not sure what we did to deserve it). We arrived by taxi at 3 a.m. and as soon as we exited the cab we were approached by drug addicts for...

Even the guy at the front desk felt bad about the service, the cleanliness etc. He actually lowered our bill, so low it was inexpensive and was there for a convention and everything affordable sold out. There were 4 of us, yet couldn't get 4 towels. Everything was old, dirty. I did notice they were remodeling some rooms, so if you...

Kinda old and run down. VERY VERY BAD AREA!!! Prostitution and loud fighting, drugs, etc. I give them 3 stars because of the helpful staff, they were really friendly and accommodating. This place really needs some upgrades but I've been to nicer hotels with rude staff and made their rating like 1 star to me.
