My expectations for the Marriott Salt Lake City University Park were not high, party because of the attractive rate. But I was very pleased with this Marriott. The location for my work was ideal. The lobby is spacious, clean and inviting. The service was very nice and consistently good across the board, throughout the hotel. My room and the fitness...

We were in Salt Lake City while our sister was in the hospital, the hotel was very accommodating for that. The front desk staff was very nice, there shuttle service to and from the hospital was great. The room was clean, the beds were great for a good night sleep. We were on the seventh floor and had the concierge...

I stayed here because I was attending a conference meeting here. There was plenty of parking and there was no charge. If you are a Marriott rewards member, the wifi is free if you book direct with them. The room was comfortable. Mine had a king size bed, desk with chair and a small refrigerator. I ordered room service one...

We stayed here during Thanksgiving and found the employees to be extremely friendly. The rooms were probably updated in the last 7 years. Included a small refrigerator but no safe in the room which was annoying. They did not supply shower caps but provided them if you requested them. The hotel is located in the canyon and the last two...

Hotels in Salt Lake City have not kept up with the increasing hipness of the city. A boutique hotel explosion is necessary and may be just around the corner. The Marriott University Park in Salt Lake City is a hostelry meeting the needs of the University of Utah and its famed medical facilities. It does this well, but as a...

Enofile1 - Thank you for your review of our hotel and the amenities that we offer. It's disappointing to hear that your experience with our newly renovated sleeping rooms lacked the "WOW" factor. Your feedback is important to us and has been shared with our team here. We hope that we have the opportunity in the future to host any...

We had to stay here for the recent Outdoor Retailer show because Salt Lake City is still not prepared to be a convention center and there are not enough rooms downtown. This property is located on the edge of the University of Utah campus. It is a large property about 15 drive to the convention center. The hotel even though...

I stayed here on business for one (short) night. I was upgraded to a two-room suite (living area and bedroom) upon check-in. My suite was clean and comfortable. The mattress was slightly firm and conducive to a good night's sleep. The a/c unit worked well. The free Wi-Fi worked fine, too. The suite also featured a mini-fridge and microwave in...

We had stayed in Park City the night before in an expensive resort and were unimpressed. We decided to stay in SLC the next night and used Priceline to get this Marriott and it was so refreshing! The exterior looks bland and dated but the interior is great! There is a glass chandelier in the foyer that is awesome! Room...

Only one night stay but we were upgraded to concierge level on top floor which gave us a fantastic view. All the usual Marriott amenities included wonderful bed. Even with homecoming weekend for the Utes, the hotel was not noisy and met all our needs.
