Welcome to the Albuquerque North/Bernalillo KOA. On the road to Santa Fe, just north of Albuquerque, exit 240 North, 242 South or 550 East, is located a flower filled oasis where our helpful staff will make your stay a memorable one. We also added a BRAND NEW WiFi system that works great throughout the campground!The campground features a shaded pool (a rarity in the desert) just steps from your Kamping Kabin, tent site or RV pull thru. It's a terrific gathering spot for groups and families with an outdoor covered pavilion, NEW WiFi system, playground, volleyball, horseshoes, 2 dog parks, a book exchange, and video rental along with a great gift shop boasting Native American crafts, snacks, drinks, RV supplies and everyday essentials. Catch the new Rail Runner Express in Bernalillo only half a mile away (within walking distance) for train excursions to explore downtown Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Belen. The campground also offers easy access to the attractions of New Mexico's two largest cities, as well as to ancient Indian ruins (in Bernalillo), ghost towns, pueblos and all the beauty of the Southwest. Just head West on 550 to highway 4 to the Jemez village where you can swim in the soda damn, soak in the natural hot spring pots and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery New Mexico has to offer.We are the closest KOA to the World Famous International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta just 9 miles away. Every October the skies are filled with every color, size and shape of balloons. An amazing spectacle you’ll want to see. No car, that’s okay we have a free shuttle that will take you to the Santa Ana Casino where you can enjoy a fun filled evening of dining, bowling (kid friendly with arcade) and entertainment just minutes away. They will always pick you up for an exhilarating round of world famous golf. Feel like staying in, Pizza Hut and Dominos will always deliver to your campsite.On the weekends for your enjoyment free G/PG rated movies are shown in the grassy outdoor covered pavilion where you can purchase snacks and popcorn to add to your viewing pleasure.

Sites are not level. All sand, dirt and pebbles that get blown everywhere. Sites very tight. Cannot open awnings as trees in way. Space between rigs maybe 8 feet. Not long enough for big rigs. Lanes tighter. 3 accidents while we stayed there for 3 nights that we saw when people parking on site and guided by KOA golf cart. No apologies to anyone. Misleading info on pool. Their own leaflet says may. Koa website says may 15. It’s neither. Labor Day at best. When we queried at checkin, told you can have full refund and go elsewhere!

Well outside Albuqueque's city limits. Nice view of the mountains. Only 3 women's showers for a large campground. Be sure to walk next door to the Kaktus Brewery for great pizza & hand crafted cocktails.

This was our second time staying at this KOA. It is very well laid out. They are dog friendly and have a two dog parks. Swimming pool playground and more. Great location close to I-25 and easy access to Santa Fe and Albuqueque.

Upon arrival staff in office seemed too busy on the phone to even acknowledge my presence. Finally came around to the counter to check me in. Quick and painless since I had a reservation. Sites are close but doable. Bathrooms clean but very small showers. I could have taken a shower in my own rig it was so small. Spent 3 nights FHU since we were doing Albuquerque and Santa Fe sightseeing

The campground was very clean and quiet. Our site had two little trees, a patch of astroturf, and a picnic table. No fire ring, but we were told that if we brought our own fire pit for cooking, and if it had a cover, we would be OK. The grandkids enjoyed roasting their hotdogs and marshmallows! The pool was wonderful, I've never seen a cleaner pool! It's outdoors but has ample shade and pool side chairs. There are several little shaded nooks where a person could sit and relax. We loved the waterfall with the koi. The grandkids wore themselves out every day in the pool, the playground and riding their bikes. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even lead you to your site! Highly recommend!
