This is my second time staying at the Econo Lodge Old Town and it just keeps getting better. The rooms have been updated since my last stay. First off, it's a great location and close to both Old Town and Downtown. Stepping into the room my first thought was how fresh and clean it smelled. The room was spotless and had cable TV, a microwave oven, a small fridge, a king size bed, small sofa, and best of all a whirlpool bath which I looked forward to each evening after being out all day. This hotel also has an indoor pool and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast is perfect and they keep the the room where it is served very clean. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, microwave oatmeal, pastries, cookies, cereal, juices, and the most

We stayed there 2 nights during the famous Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2014. The gals were very friendly and helpful during check-in....It was then that I learned that they had expanded the hours of their hot breakfast for that week only;4 a.m. to 9 a.m. (When have you EVER heard of a place that will accommodate guests like that??....4 a.m. !!) The only complaint we had was that the small refrigerator in the room barely cooled.....otherwise we enjoyed our stay there....Next time I will bring my swimsuit so I can enjoy the indoor pool

Dear mntnman64, Thank you for taking the time to write your experience on TripAdvisor. I am delighted you were able to enjoy our famous Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. I am pleased that our staff was friendly and helpful during checkin. With our regular breakfast hours we knew our guests attending the Balloon Fiesta would not be able to enjoy our hot continental breakfast. We try to accommodate all of our guests and extending our breakfast hours was one way. I am sorry your refrigerator was not working properly, next time please let the front desk staff know and we will be more than happy to switch it out. Please come and see us the next time you are in town! Best wishes, Elena M., Owner 505-243-8475

I was very hesitant when my husband told me he booked with econolodg, but after my first phone call, I knew it would be great. The rooms are VERY clean, the parking lot was swept twice a day, and the breakfast was awesome. No fake, precooked bacon & sausage. It was real potatoes, fresh cooked sausage, bacon, and eggs. During the Balloon Fiesta breakfast was ready right at 4 am, and plenty to go around, no fighting for scraps. Also, they had snacks readily available all day. This doesn't sound like much, but as a mom of 4 this was a life saver. The pool was heated, clean, and well socked with towels. I can't say I've ever been happier with a hotel (or motel) stay. The service was just great. Every employee was helpful and cheerful. Oh, and it was literally one

Reasonable rates, clean, comfortable rooms, and a full hot free breakfast! Eggs, sausage, hash browns, fruit, pastries. Great central location. The staff is knowledgable about the area, and very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. We were camping, and sent some of our gear ahead. Staff had it ready for us when we arrived. The most comfy bed I've seen in a hotel in a long while! Extra touches include bike rentals, free newspapers and bottled water.

I wish we could of stayed here the whole week instead of the 2 nights we did. The check in was easy and she was very informative without us even having to ask. The room was clean and had recently been updated. Our room was quite, (except I found that the fan unit was loud, but maybe because we were at the end unit and the outside was back in a cubby area) But we had no problem falling asleep once we got use to it. I was really surprised when we had a problem with the jet tub that the Owner (I believe) drove back at 9pm to fix it, which he could have just checked it out the next day. That's what you call concern for your customers comfort. And breakfast was great it was cooked not microwaved like most places, and it consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and that

Dear Annie124624, Thank you for taking the time to review your five day visit with us! We truly enjoyed having you as our guest. I’m happy to hear everything went well with your visit. When you are away from home for an extended period of time, your hotel room becomes your home away from home. We know how important it is to have the little comforts of home available. That’s why we furnish each guest room and suite with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hair dyer, iron and ironing board, flat screen television, comfortable beds, and a new “clean” remote that is user friendly. We are in the process of removing all carpets from our rooms and replacing them with beautiful hard wood floors. Thank you for your kind compliments. We do take great pride in our hotel and work hard to make sure each and every guest has everything they need. I’m happy to hear you were able to use our in house shuttle service. We just want to make things as easy as possible for our wonderful guests. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again! Kind Regards, Elena M. Owner 505-243-8475

I have really liked my stay here. People who manage this place really do care. It shows primarily with a breakfast which is great for a hotel of this level, but also in many other little details. Room was spacious and clean, had TV, fridge, microwave, etc. Wi-fi was very reliable. This place is within short walk of Old Town, that is full of restaurants, souvenir shops, etc.
