The Crescent Beach Motel is just what the positive reviews said. It is right on the beach. Yes, it is not exquisite...but who cares. If you are like us and come up the Redwood Highway, you've just experience the Redwoods and all of a sudden, right there is the Motel. In fact, we drove past it and had to turn... More

This is an old motel, but it is well kept. We spent two nights there. Waking up to the ocean right in front of your door is breathtaking. Although it was immaculately clean, our room had a distinct odor, like it has flooded in the past. We kept the windows open, so it made the smell bearable. I would definitely... More

This motel is well situated, just south of downtown and on the beach. Our room did not face the ocean, but we could easily reach the beach. For a local non-chain motel, this place was very well maintained. Our room was quite large, as was the bathroom. Despite being on the main road (Calif. 101), it was very quiet. The... More

This motel is reasonably priced, clean, has great service and is actually on the beach! During a 3-week road trip with stays at 8 different hotels/motels, this was our favorite. The rooms are classic 1950's decor for sure - nothing fancy - almost like staying in your Grandparent's spare room, but it's that plus the fact the your sliding glass... More

This is my third time staying there. It is so nice, nothing fancy. As I said, it's right on the beach. Crescent City is a beautiful town. Ocean to the front and redwoods to the rear. Spent a week there running all around. Can't remember the name of the restaurant but it's out in the harbor. The staff at Crescent... More

After driving from Crater Lake to the Redwoods, we looked for a place to stay before heading up Highway 101. The room at the Crescent Beach Motel was clean, average sized with a walk-in shower. The sliding glass door lead directly to the beach. There is nothing high-end at the motel. The breakfast was minimal, the bed was average, and... More

Located on the south side of town just off the 101 highway. The sliding back door leads you right out to the beach. You are able to look out your sliding glass door and see the waves from your room. The room itself was small with a very small bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There were thick towels. Heater kept... More

This hotel appears to be the only one right on the beach in Crescent City. It is clean and convenient. The deck on back of each room with chairs is a perfect way to end the day. The breakfast is just instant oatmeal packets and apples, but I really didn't expect anything else. It's enough to satisfy your early morning... More

This is a great place to stay for a visit to the Redwood National Park. It is ocean front, and you are within a few feet from the beach. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. The walkways outside the rooms are wooden, so it can be a bit noisy with people passing by. Rooms with a low... More
