We hadn't planned on staying the night we just thought we would take a day trip. Decided we wanted to stay and pulled in to see if any rooms were available. Staff was super friendly and gave us a wonderful price. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast even during covid had plenty of options and no one was left hungry. We plan to stay here again in the future. Thank You.
Clean hotel, great location just clear of the weekend craziness of Estes Park. Nothing fancy, tiny bathroom, limited breakfast items that are grab and go only due to Covid. No housekeeping service either, but a bag of towels and toilet paper was dropped at the door each morning. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, we slept great! It's a short walk to the pretty walking trail around Lake Estes which leads to the downtown area.
We had to book last minute at Hotel Estes because another hotel we were staying at lost hot water. And Hotel Estes was so much better than the original place we'd selected. It was a little longer walk to town than we'd have liked, but only because we had little ones with us. Hotel Estes was accommodating and immediately got us in a room. The room was clean and spacious. Though the bed was firm, I found it surprisingly comfortable. The free breakfast in the cozy lobby was impressive- lots of options and good coffee. The room had a SmartTV, microwave and mini fridge. We didn't use the hot tub or pool, but those looked nice as well. Then I had to checkout a day early because of a family emergency, and the staff gave me a refund on my last night. I will definitely come back and will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Estes Park.…
Stayed here one night and really enjoyed it. It was clean and had plenty of areas to walk our dog. The best part was the customer service . Very good. Location was great 5 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from lake Estes .
Lauren (at reception desk) assured me that my room would be ready (when I called to advise I'd be arriving earlier than expected) and when I arrived she gave me the run-down on the facilities, breakfast (to go due to the virus). She was friendly and helpful when I asked about wildlife near the hotel (tho I ended up not seeing any elk on the property). Enrique at front desk reception was also cordial when I dropped by the next morning to ask about breakfast at Notchtop and how to possibly see moose at the nearby river. Maria, the housekeeper I met as I was putting my bags in the car was so sweet. We chatted for a bit about the area and I thanked her for her service (left a few dollars in an envelope at the table near the entrance). As for the room itself, it was more than ample for me (single traveller). The bed was comfy enough - not spectacular, but sufficient with plenty of pillows. There was a mini fridge, a microwave and two coffee mugs. The bathroom towels were plush and I especially liked the attention to detail in the toilet flush handle (ceramic with silver tone accent). The sink area included a dark colored face cloth (for makeup removal) and while I didn't wear makeup on this trip, I certainly appreciated the added touch (it helps avoid makeup stains on a white towel). The one suggestion I'd make: staff should turn off the room lights (to conserve energy). When I opened the door to my room I noticed how bright it was (all except for the bathroom light were on). Another concern: had I known the folks above me would parade bath & forth (including at 3am), I would've requested a top floor room. There are plenty of dining options in the area. I would stay here again (just request a room on the 2nd floor).…
