This is a beautiful campground but there are no threaded water faucets allowing fo an easy fill of fresh water holding tanks. In spite of this (minor) inconvenience, the campground is much nicer than private campgrounds as the sites are well spaced.

This was a very nice clean campground. No showers, but flush toilets and sinks. Site 3 had good shade. Minutes away from the Fall River Visitor Center/park entrance. The visitor center has a big gift shop, nice restaurant, and camp store. Very convenient.

If you go to the official Rocky Mt National Park website you can get the specs and pictures of all sites. You can also reserve them there as well.

Make sure to look at the pictures of the sites. Some are on flat ground, while others may be up on a hill or tucked down at the side of a trail. The pictures really give an accurate view of what to expect. The description... More
