The hotel has a good location and basic continental breakfast as indicated after that it is downhill. Our room that was assigned was not clean (we found dirty laundry in a dresser draw). Our new room had a sink that was clogged, heating that did not shut off or a thermostat control, no shampoo or conditioner and towels with stains. when we called after hours maintenance no one returned calls. This is after suffering the heat in the room overnight, just trying to be courteous to maintenance. The front desk was not available until one hour after its published time. When we asked to speak to the manager, his response was to make excuses for his staff 's lack of knowledge, or availability. No desire to resolve the issues or even apologize for the inconveniences. It was very lackadaisical approach to keeping a business open…
Great room, very nice view. Very close to downtown. Very friendly staff. Nice pool. Will definitely stay there again. They had a nice family room with 3 queen beds & 2 TV's. Would definitely recommend this hotel
If I could rate this place 0 starts I would. I booked a room here to stay in October here unfortunately the day we were leaving to Estes park there was fire in the mountains and they closed the road and of course we were unable to travel from Denver to the Estes park since the routs as I mention before were close because of the fire . I called and explain the situation but the answer from the lady was " oh I got here without any problem " as soon as she turn on the TV she realize there was fire all over the rocky mountains national park and she said oh "you right roads are closed we are going to get everything ready for your refund because the person in charge of refunds is not here today" well I called days after and they denied my refund ... I'm still thinking how my family and I were supposed to get there if every rout that communicates Denver to Estes park were closed ? ridiculous I guess I have control of nature disasters :/…
I undoubtedly had an expectation prior to arrival. I decided that I was going to do my best not to let that lead my review. So, my expectation could not have lead my review because it far exceeded what I expected. The location is an inconspicuous place tossed into a row of hotels and motels. The office is small, currently with social distancing measures in place. The guy that checked me in was cheerful, and efficient. When he handed me the old school key, I was further worried, but nope... I walked into the 2 double bed suite highly impressed. The room was clean, and seemingly updated. It had a definite lodge feel to the place, but modern. During my stay, there were 3 additional cars in the parking lot. Last but not least, there is no attendant on duty at night so try to plan ahead. …
The price was right $89/ night. Pet friendly. The first room, building 1...air conditioning shut off after 5 min. Service clerk came by to reset the fuse. The fuse “popped” every 9 min the whole night. The window wouldn’t open, so uncomfortably hot. Day 2, finally sent someone to scrape paint so the window would open. No screen. A/C continued to blow a fuse every 9 min. They offered to move us to a “significant upgrade” at no cost. We moved the family to nicer lodging, building 7. The sink was clogged. 3 hours later, sink was still clogged. Only one maintenance worker covered 2 properties ... but would be right over. another hour. “Worker will visit first thing in the morning, sorry about you clog, we can move your family again”. We waited. 4pm the next day, staff had no record of a sink needing service, fixed it in an hour. The rooms were okay. With the exception of maintenance issues, clean. No services, but we leave wet towels & full trash bags in front of the room, and pick up clean ones in another building so we have fresh towels and garbage bags for the day. …
