We had cabin 5. What's important to us is a cleanliness, a kitchen and a porch or balcony to enjoy the scenery. Oh and good price since we're not there much. This place had them all. And so close to all the east side trails in the park. Very pleased, will definitely be back! And Todd gave great hiking and...

Not only clean and welcoming, but it comes with a fireplace, in room hot tub and fabulous shower! Excellent king size bed surrounded by warm rust colored walls made it a most enjoyable experience. Two chairs on the baclony for sunset viewing made this an ideal place to sip a glass of wine after a wonderful day photographing the elk...

This family-owned facility offers down-home friendliness and cabins/rooms that make for a cozy, relaxing stay. I arrived several hours early for my first stay there and, Todd, the owner, was ready to leap into action to get my room ready! We decided to go into Estes Park to shop and eat and check in later. The room was well appointed,...

Fantastic value for the price! We stayed on the first floor of the lodge. Comfy bed with plenty of blankets and everything needed to use the in-room fireplace. From the friendly staff to the clean and cozy room, everything about this place was great. The driveways up to the cabins and lodge are steep, unpaved, and uneven, so bring a...

I stayed in cabin #5. I believe it is called the hummingbird cabin. I really liked the layout of the cabin, and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings. The bed and pillows were great. It felt like sleeping on a cloud. I didn't want to get out of bed. The only negative was the bathroom. It...

Cabin was clean with fair sized kitchen, but tiny bath, comfortable bed, plenty of ventilation via any windows. Saw elk on grounds in the morning, ( nice surprise). Cabins are not fancy or upscale, but are good for the price. Easy access from center of town. Rocky Mountain Park entrance only a few miles up the road.

This was our second stay in about 3 years. The first was in the fall of 2012 and this time spring of 2015. FYI, it's a lot colder in Estes Park and RMNP in May than you'd think so dress warmly! Cabins are small but very nice. Kitchens have everything you need. We had a charcoal grill and cooked out...

Great place to stay. Todd and Maxine the inn keepers were super friendly and very helpful. They helped us plan our stay and invited us on a local wellness run from the Stanley hotel which ended with a free pasta dinner. As for the accommodations we stayed in the Spa room for $130 a night. It was a very nice...

We spent two nights in one of the Amberwood hotel rooms and we were pretty underwhelmed by the condition of the room. It's in need of some serious upgrades and maintenance. The carpet was old and stained and needed to be replaced or a deep steam cleaning. It was pretty obvious the carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed, you could...

As a planned anniversary runaway that just happened to coincide with the hottest weather in our home territory in a decade, we were primed to appreciate Amberwood before we even got there. Upon arrival, we were greeted courteously and professionally by management and provided with ideas of what we could do until our room was ready. The room itself was...
