We stayed two nights in a nicely decorated room with a private bath. Though the room was not large, it was very comfortable for two of us. The living room was large and inviting. The hosts, Suzanna and Dave were warm and helpful in restaurant recommendations and things to do in the area. There were hot and cold choices for...

We stayed here for three nights with another couple. Dave and Suzanna greeted us warmly and gave us a quick tour of the inn. We slept in the dining room on the first floor and our friends stayed upstairs in the master bedroom. Both rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable with good beds and large windows to enjoy the views....

It started with Dave's grumpy greeting and then there was a go round about our dietary needs for breakfast that we did email to the hosts way before we ever arrived-and even did a follow up email to be sure they received the request. It did all get sorted out but there was a feeling that we were not welcome....

Our two nights here were wonderful. We found everything to our liking: tidy house on a well manicured lot, beds were soft and cozy, room was quiet and the breakfasts were just the way we liked. We appreciated just coming and going as we pleased throughout our time while Suzanna and Dave, the hosts, offered the use of their kitchen...

My husband and I visited Lubec for the first time. The Home Port Inn was a haven of peace and comfort. The view from our window was stunning and Susanna quickly became a friend. She gave great information on the area and made us feel as if we were family. It was the best stay we have had in a...

This B&B is perfect for visiting Quoddy Head State park. It's a nice little B&B for a remote get away. Each room is unique and has a lot of character. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating, in addition to giving great tips and advice for things to do in the area. Make sure you get up early enough for...

My boyfriend and I spent a week in Lubec a week before the official tourism season started and had a WONDERFUL time! The Home Port Inn was a fantastic choice for a BB and definitely lives up to it's motto and promise of southern hospitality. There are a few things that made our trip stand out. First, we were the...

I am just transferring my old VHS tapes to DVD and came across our Labour Day experience of 1994 at the Home Port Inn...great to see that, if anything, it is even more excellent than it was when we made all the movies we did back then.

It was nice being in an out of the way part of the country and living in the slower lane, and Lubec is a quiet town - the easternmost community in the US where the sun comes up first. After a couple of one night stays ‘on the road’ we had a very nice 2 night stay at the Lubec...

Wonderful B&B! Old fashioned character with lots of charm on a tree-lined street in town at the top of a hill. Beautiful grounds. Just a couple blocks' walk down to the bayside restaurants and shops on Water St. We stayed in the room titled "The Master Bedroom." It's a huge, spacious room with its own comfy couch. The queen size...
