Cat Mountain lodge is the perfect place to stay to explore Saguaro National Park. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. When we arrived Debbie met us in the office, she was very accommodating and suggested a number of different places we could go in the local area to eat and explore. Cat mountain lodge also has a...

This beats a chain motel by a mile. It's a quaint little southwestern lodge located among a cluster of local shops and a restaurant (lunch only) right smack in the middle of mountains and saguaro cacti. Just down the road a couple of miles is one of the best natural museums I've ever been to: the Sonora Desert Museum. A...

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind after spending the day walking through the Sonora Desert Museum. The room was clean, inviting and reflected the Southwest area to a 'T'. I am from Michigan and truly appreciated the decor, the desert setting, and the sweet interior of the lodge. It is ideal for sitting and relaxing with native...

Found this lodge when checking out the Desert Museum web site and noticed its closeness to Saguaro National Forest. Perfect. It is in a great spot for staying in the desert and close to the many trails available for hiking. The lodge is nicely decorated in desert motif, very comfortable beds, great breakfast offered with room or lunch if you...

Love smallness of lodge (only 5 rooms). Style/decoration of B&B & our room was so attuned to the Southwest. Must be well built because we never heard any of our neighbors. Upon arrival we immediately walked nature trail which is well maintained. Flowering plants & bushes on property were gorgeous. Enjoyed breakfast at café next door each morning & relaxed...

This was a great find when we were looking for a place more convenient after a visit to Kitt Peak Observatory than having to return all the way to Tucson. It is also just 10 minutes away from the Desert Museum. There are just a half dozen rooms, so advanced reservations are a must. Our room was clean, comfortable and...

My wife and I stayed at Cat Mountain Lodge for the first time during our trip to Tucson, we will be coming back for sure. Very comfortable, extremely clean room with beautiful furniture and everything you could need. The close attention to southwestern detail and stunning views outside make it a real desert getaway. The shops at Cat Mountain Station...

Beautiful, serene, peaceful. Original Tucson hacienda style lodge, in a picturesque desert setting. Close to town only 17 min to downtown restaurants and venues. Onsite breakfast and lunch was delicious. 15 min from Desert Museum and 10 min to Gates Pass- great place for Sunset. We enjoyed getting out of the city and being rejuvenated by the quiet desert.
