This hotel is unsafe! This morning the fire alarm went off waking up most of its guests. We scrambled to get a few things and went down the stairs to where people were gathering outside. About 15 minutes pass and I think to myself, where’s...More

I think this hotel is geared for a younger clientele. Had a 3 night stay and passed on housekeeping to get more points. Was looking forward to breakfast, but none of the 5 or 6 options sounded good to me. Was looking for a traditional...More

Thanks so much for the shout out about our cool, modern vibe here at Aloft Tucson University. Our rates do vary, book early for busy university weekends! Hope to see you soon.
The Aloft is a nice hotel but to be honest, I expected much more for the price paid. The contemporary lobby and rooms are cool. The staff is friendly and a lot of things are within walking distance like restaurants and such.More

Yeah, Phone number is 520-908-6800, front desk should be the first to answer and possibly the only ones to but whoever does I'd just say "I would like to make a reservation." Or even asking them if they have rooms available or what their rate is for that night.
One thing I should mention is if you tried calling overnight or early morning there might have been a chance that the front desk person had to use the restroom or take something (like towels) to a guests room real quick and wasn't at their desk when you called (if you did, not sure if you attempted but no one answered or was generally needing to know how to book a room) since typically there is only one of them working when its overnight. Hoped this helped :)
Hi, Caroline! It's connected to a mini mall and a shopping center, so it's convenient. The area seemed safe--it's just surrounded by parking lots so there's the traffic to consider. Wishing you a great trip!

"Speedway side was quite noisy due to the traffic, even on the 6th floor."
