I have stayed here several times on business over the last few years. The rooms are clean spacious with a separate bedroom comfortable king sized bed, well appointed kitchenette and living area. For an extra plus and especially nice after a long day of work is the jacuzzi bathtub! Good location, super front desk staff. I would not hesitate to...

I was hesitant to stay here after reading some of the reviews, but we had a great time. Our room was overlooking the inner courtyard and pool, and we did not experience the street noise that some reviewers complained about -- so definitely try to get a pool view! We stayed on a Groupon and had no trouble using it....

the Varsity Inn in Tucson has it all. Situated in the very heart of Tucson....near so many diverse "must see" attractions. This Inn has fully furnished rooms including full kitchens. The pool area is fantastic for soaking up some of that wonderful Arizona sun. There are several casinos near for those that enjoy games of chance. Also there are several...

Recently we needed a local hotel to stay for three weeks due to some home renovation, on a friend's recommendation we chose this Hotel. A week or so before we checked in I booked the time with the Front Desk Manager. At that time I was told the room I requested was available for just two weeks, after that they...

Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent stay at Varsity Clubs of America Tucson. We are sorry that we were unable to accommodate your request to extend your reservation however, as was advised when you called prior to arrival to inquire about adding 6 additional nights, we were already sold out for the additional nights that you were requesting....

Spent 3 nights here. Front Desk Lady was great! Rooms were nice and clean. Don't select any outer unit because with 2 busy intersections it can be very noisy at night. Stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was very nice and spacious!! Will stay here again when I am in the area!! Only thing this resort lacks is having...

Our stay at this hotel was for over two weeks. We were in between homes and needed a nice place. Varsity Club in Tucson was a welcoming and fun atmosphere for our whole family. We had a very nice stay. All of the staff were wonderful and friendly! Rooms were clean and everything seemed to function well. Weekend games and...

Overall, it was super nice. The way everything is set up though made me feel as if I was in a compound. Cameras on every corner, scary security guy at night that will harass anyone. The workers, eh they were ok. The star quality of this place comes from the room. It's really nice. Big room, living room, kitchen, bath,...

When we booked a one bedroom unit, the information stated it accommodated 4 people. Having stayed at other Diamond resorts in the area - Scottsdale Mirage and Sedona Summit - where the one bedroom units were identical and quite large - full kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area - we expected the same. However, the one bedrooms at the Varsity...

The Varsity is not really a hotel. It is a low price, budget time share development that rents suites. It is perfectly adequate, and great for budget conscious families, but there is no restaurant, no real service to the rooms, ie. no linen service, no luggage assistance etc. There is a nice pool. We were here for parent's weekend at...

I understand my room was booked at a nonrefundable rate, but this is the only hotel I've ever asked for accommodation that wouldn't either rebook the unused rooms for another date or refund them after part of our workload was unexpectedly rescheduled by our customer. (I was told that had it been a cruise that was cancelled or rescheduled, it...

Thank you for your review. We apologize if you haven't heard from anyone regarding your concerns. The experience you describe is not at all an accurate reflection of our top priority, which is to provide unsurpassable customer service. Typically, non-refundable reservations would not get a credit to return or a refund because of it being non-refundable. However, our guests have...
