Very spacious suite. Close to Salem attractions. Restaurants close by that give a 10% discount on your bill..99 Restaurant and Jessica Lynn. Reasonable price. Free kerig coffee in room. Room service. Ice machine in check in lobby.
The room was pretty nice, although you could tell where changes, repairs or Upgrades were done, because fixtures didn’t quite match and looked a little out of place.

Yes, if you like to walk it's probably 20 minutes from downtown. My son and I did it several times when we stayed at the Clipper Shop Inn. If you decide that you don't want to walk, a cab ride is only a few dollars.
