The hospitality of the staff was great. Alamo, mall, and river walk is across the street. Continental breakfast included. Bars are also a short walk down the street. Nice clean pool to tan and cool off at. Also has hot tub to relax your muscles from all of the walking you will do. Valet parking is $23 a day or...

I'm normally a Hilton Fan but the last few stays in Fairfields are making me rethink my choices in the future. We stayed in this hotel over mother's day weekend. It was clean, comfortable, located just a few minutes walk from the river. Best of all every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and efficient. I wish...

I was in San Antonio for a conference and loved the location and price of this hotel. Staff were great, room was good, Internet was fast. Gym was handy and the pool was great. I think the breakfast really lets it down though. I know it's "free", but it was pretty low quality in my opinion. This wouldn't matter if...

While in San Antonio for a week long conference I stayed here and very happy I did. The all you can eat breakfast is Great, very clean and quiet. The staff was very professional every day. The room and service was the best. Clean smells fresh. 5 minute walk to downtown. The staff always pleasant with cordial greetings. Saying "welcome...

This was a one night stop in a trip across Texas. The staff at this hotel are the friendliest people! Front desk to maid service, valet to breakfast cooks..everyone had a ready smile and made you feel right at home. Beds are too soft and bouncy for my taste. There is no parking but $23 valet parking; however, directly across...

We really enjoyed our stay the last two nights at Fairfield Inn. It was close to the Alamo and Riverwalk, clean, friendly staff behind the desk and parking the cars, and well stocked with towels (most hotels aren't) I see a lot of complaining here about the 23.00 a night additional for parking. The Emily Morgan hotel is right down...

Located right across the the street from the mall and maybe a 10 minute walk from the Riverwalk. Its like half the price of hotels on the river, just as nice, and within walking distance. Only thing I dislike about it is, that ALL hotels downtown, there is no self parking and is valet only.

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was great and very accommodating. Our room did not come with a fridge, however we told the night desk person we had some food that needed refrigerating. He said he'd check to see if one was available. 5 minutes later, there was a knock on the door and in...

The best part about staying here is its location, a couple of blocks from The Alamo and the downtown business district. Next best is the friendly staff. The complimentary morning breakfast is a bit better than average. (The Texas waffle maker is fun.) However, no fridge or microwave in the room for this level of hotel are a definite minus,...

This hotel is fine if you are looking for a good location and a basic hotel room with a basic breakfast. And as long as you are not there on a Friday or Saturday night when the dance club across the street blares music loud enough to practically shake the bed. When I asked the front desk about it, they...
