Eva's Escape is a bed and breakfast located quite close to the river walk and a 20 minute walk along the river to downtown San Antonio. The rooms are very comfortable but "old world" and the breakfast room is gorgeous. We were seated around a table with the other guests and had breakfast together like a big happy family. Really...

We arrived early and Debra let us check in anyway, and told us all about the house and fun places to eat and shop. We chose the Lily room on the first floor with a king bed that was super comfy. Everything was clean and well appointed. The shower in our room was very small, and being 6 ft. could...

If you are confined to a wheelchair, this is not the place for you. However, if, like me, you can deal with 5 steps and walking around inside the house they have a beautiful room on the main floor for you. The Lily room has a monster bed. One of those old fashioned king size babies that you need a...

We were highly delighted with our 2-night stay at Eva's Escape at the Gardenia Inn. The home itself is beautifully decorated and welcoming. Deborah, our hostess, is genuinely charming and she has thought of every detail in advance to enhance our experience in this lovely home. It is located in the King William District and is close to the River...

This is a lovely old house, with some beautiful pieces of old furniture and high, coved ceilings. The innkeeper, Deborah, is charming and welcoming. She was caught in traffic when we arrived (we were 2 hours early-not her fault for not being there), but we called her and got the code for the door. The Magnolia Room is a little...

Wonderful stay at Eve's escape for a recent conference. Was in a great neighborhood just south of downtown. Great local places nearby (Tex mex, bbq, fun outdoor beer garden). Deborah was a fantastic host. Comfortable room , great bed. Everything clean and the morning breakfast great each day. Definitely recommend.

I booked to this B&B (from October 14-16, 2016) to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. I made sure that the booking was done a few weeks ahead to make sure that we get the room that we wanted which is the lavender room based on the positive reviews that it got from it previous customers. To my surprise, I got...

Thank you for choosing our inn as your San Antonio home away from home. One of the great things about staying at a bed and breakfast if you are traveling solo, you do not have to feel alone. It brings a smile to our face to know you felt safe and at home. We look forward to seeing you next...

A fantastic property in a great, historic location. We had a really good room. The hosts are fantastic and provide an amazing breakfast and great service. So many things are provided such as cookies, sodas, advice, and tea and coffee. We would definitely stay here again should we return to San Antonio.

We stayed in the Lilly room and it was beautiful. The bed and pillows were comfortable, which can be hard to find. What really takes Eva's over the edge is Ms. Deborah and her family/staff. The food was fantastic! We were served carrot cake pancakes one morning and an incredible egg dish the next. I can't wait to stay here...
