Stayed for a graduation at Lackland. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Great décor. Room was spotless and grounds well kept. Wish we had stayed longer. Pool and rec area nice and although we didn't play golf the course looked great.

The limit is 90 minutes and with a child that should be easier. Tell them you want to see the property and they take you in golf cart and that uses some time. Tell them you cannot afford to do presently and the offers get better as time goes on. They are not high pressure and it was very informative for us . We were thinking of upgrading our ownership but did not do it. Have fun.
