I love San Antonio & there is no doubt that the Menger Hotel has everything you need. The pool offers a beautiful oasis to relax and unwind. It's across the street from the historical Alamo! I'll be back as soon as I can!

The rooms are nice, but it is the hotel's history and beautiful interior that made our stay memorable. Our only complaint was the cost of valet parking and there didn't appear to be any other less expensive options.

You got to love this hotel with the wonderful history attached to it! Great location to the Alamo, shopping and restaurants. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and u have to stop for cocktails at the Menger Bar! The service at the bar was slow and has been with our last two visits!

Saw no ghosts, but loved the historic charm of this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. My room opened onto a huge balcony which was great in the evenings to sit and people watch from. Hotel is conviently located to shopping, dining, and the conference center. Loved my stay!

Elegant and easy going sums up The Menger. The lobby is a wonderful place to read or just people watch. It's a joy just to soak up all the history and realize all the decades that have come and gone inside these walls and the stories lived out over all those years. This place is unique and so is pretty...

From parking my car to checking out the trip was great. Every person we encountered was super professional, courteous and helpful. The bar staff is amazing and the Honey Apple Sunshine is so worth a trip or two to the bar. My Husband had a pizza from room service and said it was one of the best he ever had....

We discovered The Menger Hotel on our honeymoon 16 years ago. We were staying at the nearby Hilton but walked into the lobby of The Menger to explore and fell in love with this historic hotel. They had a room available so we moved ourselves over and now make it our home every time we come to San Antonio. This...

This is such an historic hotel. My father stayed here a number of times in WWII. I have also stayed a number of times. It is beautiful and still holds its glamor. Remember that it is original and historic, which limits how air conditioning ducts can be run. The hallways can be somewhat warm on hot days and the rooms...

This hotel is beautiful and full of history. We stayed in the oldest part. I was fascinated by everything. The art, photography, and furniture take you back in time. I loved everything about it. We will most defiantly stay again and acquire some ghost stories of our own.

“we were originally given a tiny room in the back of the property with only 1 bed despite our reservation being for 2 beds. They made it right & gave us a big room with 2 beds & a great view.”

“If you like chasing ghosts, ask for The King room. The original hotel is full of charm but the rooms may not be for everyone. The new wing is more of a modern layout. The Menger has it all, just be sure to confirm which room you would prefer. ”
