Great central location to see Fiesta San Antonio. Walking distance to most attractions and the most authentic bar in Texas. Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet. Rooms a little dated but clean. A san Antonio legend next door to the Alamo.

Had called to see if they had a room in the oldest part of the hotel with balcony . She was going to put on the reservation. Had to stay in a room without a balcony when, I had payed more more. The room still had trash in it and was unclean. I was very unhappy with the service.

I stayed here for a week while attending a work conference. The hotel stay was very relaxing. The room was newly renovated and quiet. The only negative thing I can say about the room was it took 10-15 swipes (no exaggeration) to get into the room. I ate at the hotel restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, the food was...

Beautiful common areas in this old hotel full of history but room was very cramped for our family. Bathroom tiny and creepy with no counter space. Showerhead was for people under 5 foot. Sunday's brunch was very good after the service was complained of to management. Pool so cold we couldn't swim and small hot tub overcrowded.

In town on a business meeting. I valet my car, because there is no self serve parking via the attendant. I knew there was bad weather coming, I asked if it was covered parking, which he said yes covered and secured. The hail storm hit, my car has over $3,000 worth of damage they are not responsible for. Even though...

To call the suite livable would be an understatement. The parlor/living room had two comfortable sofas that were ideal for relaxing with a book or listening to...

Historic, non-conventional hotel with excellent staff, accommodations and charm. I stay at many hotels every year and this experience was pleasantly unique. Excellent location for San Antonio tourist activities.
