My husband booked the "Vanessie" for our anniversary "get away". I was a little skeptical upon arrival due to the location of the hotel, just one block from the main drag. This proved to be a blessing because it provided us quiet evenings and peaceful sleep. The exterior was a little drab (it was the middle of winter) but once...

A charming little hotel tucked into the greater Santa Fe area. The Palace of the Governors, history museum, Cathedral, Chapel and fun shops are all easily walkable from the hotel - - even when it was only 10 degrees outside. The rooms are all different, fun, and very Santa Fe. The staff was superb. My new go-to hotel in Santa...

Pleasantly surprised, had never heard of the hotel before and did not know what to expect. Suite was spacious, clean(spotless), wood burning fire place, tastefully and thematically decorated. Bathrooms were new and nice quality fixtures. Then there is the breakfast which was included--much more than the average continental breakfast in a bright and airy restaurant. Parking included too.

Fabulous experience at this perfect little hotel. Everyone who works here is just delightful, friendly, helpful. We were greeted by a lovely lady who escorted us to our room. It was CHARMING! Southwestern to the max, equipped with dreamcatcher and lovely art. The breakfasts in the morning were just the perfect amount. All of the guests greeted each other -...

I was looking for an eclectic small hotel with-in a short walking distant the restaurants, museums, shops and night life, and the Vanessie fit the bill perfectly. The check-in staff was very helpful and showed us around the place. Bedrooms are equipped with individual LG heaters so you can quickly control your room’s temperature. The bedding was luxurious. Comfortable pillows...

Me and my boyfriend come to Santa Fe every Christmas. I booked the room this time through hotwire, which is a mistake. Because they are clearly not going to treat you as a regular paying guest. I emailed them two month before check in asking if it's possible to have a room with a fireplace within the cheapest price range...

We spent the night of January 1, 2015 at the Inn at Vanessie, based on the recommendation of friends. The weather was cold (below freezing at night) which we understand is below average for Santa Fe, but that is no excuse for the inadequate heating in our room. We noticed how cold the room was when we checked in late...

I was truly excited to spend an evening at the Vanessie as it appeared both quaint and charming based on prior reviews and website pictures. I first learned about the Vanessie several years prior by dining at their restaurant and staying at the nearby Las Palomas B&B. Accordingly, we booked approx. 4 months in advanced to reserve our room of...

We stayed around Christmas at the Inn and enjoyed the room, the restaurant/piano bar and the location. Service was exceptional as they recommended restaurants and provided maps of sights and the city center. The Kiva fireplace was cozy and fun. Parking was ample though the location was so central that we hardly used it. We plan to stay again.

First time staying in this Inn, but long time visitors to Santa Fe. In town for Christmas. Cozy, warm interior ,but wall heater was noisy and power light was too bright. Only received one small bar of soap, shampoo, gel, entire four day stay. Given the price, should have freshened daily. Walls very thin, upstairs guest walked around constantly, causing...
