We came to the rancho for a harvest celebration dinner... There were about twelve of us.... Each part of the evening was great, from terrific hors devours and wine to a beautifully prepared family style dinner.... The most flavour fish... Arctic char... lovely salad, perhaps a bit too much wine...double dessert.... Ah fantastic! I happily wandered out afterwards, luckily with... More

This was our second time staying--last was in early 2014 when it was just starting out. Still found the owners to be the friendliest people around, food was spectacular, fresh and wholesome, and the property is rustic and ideal for relaxing and writing. For those wondering, it is also very convenient to Santa Fe, hiking trails, etc as well. Definitely... More

My husband and I stayed here, the owners were very hospitable and ensured our stay was great. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful views. The bonus was wonderful breakfast homemade, definantly a place we will visit again.

This place is spectacular beyond my expectations. For those looking to truly relax and unwind, while savoring out of this world flavorful New Mexican fare....look no further. (The huevos rancheros were my personal favorite!!) Leslie and Mitch are the most extraordinary hosts, creating comfort and relaxation with every gesture and word. They are lovingly surrounded by pets and invite guests... More

We had a fabulous stay at Rancho Gallina. Leslie and Mitch are wonderful hosts. They are superb chefs, who cook up scrumptious breakfasts with organic, natural ingredients and even fresh eggs from their chickens . All the rooms at Rancho Gallina are comfortable, some of which have small kitchens. It's a peaceful place only 30 minutes from Santa Fe. After... More

Our hosts, Mitch and Leslie were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable -- really warm and welcoming with lots of tips about Santa Fe area. There is so much to like about this place: eco-friendly, working towards sustainability, engaging hosts, tasty and imaginative breakfasts (especially their version of the croque madame and their delectable polenta with dates and pecans), the quiet, the chickens... But more attention to detail would be welcome; they've been working hard, but there remains lingering scruffiness from the property's former owner.... More

Returning to Rancho Gallina is testimony to my joy in returning to this splendid place in New Mexico. It's near Santa Fe, but away from the traffic and noise -- the place you really want Santa Fe to be (and it might have been more like at one time!). We were able to stay there for three wonderful days and... More
