We are conveniently located near all there is to do, see and enjoy in the Shenandoah Valley! Please contact us for all of your traveling needs. Very reasonable rates for the area. Good location between Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. It is an older style motel, but clean and comfortable. TV has numerous channels that you can view.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. We have come here a few times and it gets better each time.Better each time. Very charming. It has a country charm but near many things. The room was clean and pleasant. Friendly people.

Whether you're heading to nearby Luray Cavern, or just enjoying the Shenandoah Valley, you won't find a better or more welcoming place to spend the night. It's like a trip back in time (except with Cable TV included!), when family-run motels dotted the nation's byways. Such small, clean places aren't as easy to find anymore, but you'll love this one, and the nice people who run it and take care of it. (Did I mention that it's a bargain?)

Here is the deal: if you want a clean room, front door parking, and mountain views then this is the place. This is a mom and pop. It is a little smaller than the chain hotels. Yet, this mom and pop has chosen to invest in better quality sheets and towels than some of the big boys. The price is right. The location great. They even leave your light on and your key in your room if you are checking in late....this is called service. The room was nice and cool also which was a pleasant surprise as many don't turn on the air in advance anymore. You may hear a little highway noise, but we travel with a fan so it does not bother us.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Ten minute drive from the Thornton Gap Entrance of the Shenandoah National Park. Very friendly checkin staff. Small motel of only 19 rooms, old but well maintained. AC worked well. Queen room a little on the small side, yet large enough to fit a Fridge-freezer and microwave. Pool was closed but plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy. As other reviewers have mentioned, the curtains/shutters aren’t good enough to block out the motel’s outdoor lighting, so the room is quite bright throughout the night. Generally clean but some dusty surfaces. Annoyingly the box of facial tissues only contained 3 tissues. First night was nice and quiet. Second night however the peace was disturbed by a bizarre mother-daughter-grandmother party who were smoking marijuana all night, shouting and playing music whilst sat outside of their room. The motel may want to consider applying a policy whereby smoking is only permitted in designated places only so that smoke doesn’t drift into other guests’ rooms. Early the next morning said party woke everyone up shouting at their barking dog. All in all, a pleasant enough stay. The price tag of $90 per night a bit steep for what you get hence my 3-star instead of 4-star rating.…

Stayed here for 2 nights while doing some hiking in Shenandoah. Very close to the Thornton Gap park entrance and a few minutes in the opposite directions to town and restaurants. The room was basic, very large and very clean. We had some issues with the TV which got fixed immediately. The woman in the office was very helpful. Loved the hanging baskets on the porch! The pool was closed but looked to be very nice should we have visited in the summer. Would stay here again for sure.

I can't say enough good things about the atmosphere, and the cleanliness of the room and pool. The cleaning crew, and the office staff were so friendly and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and this will be our go to place when we are in the area or just need a weekend getaway.

This was our 2nd time staying at this motel and we will definitely stay again when in the area. If you're looking for a bougee hotel this isn't it but...... its a super cute and very clean motel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Yes it's a bit outdated but it's charming and has plenty of amenities to offer. The grills, firepit and pools are faves of ours. The staff couldn't be nicer! We travel often and the staff here is hands down the nicest we've met. The absolute sweetest ladies and they make you feel like you're home with family!!

Stayed late July. Nice property for a short stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk closed early, so call ahead if you're arriving late. Pool was very clean. They had a fire pit going at night. Very convenient location. We would return.

The employees were great & the view was even better. Just for a quick one night stay — very nice.
