We stayed at Piney Hill while on a hiking trip. Hank and Wiley are wonderful hosts, and the attention paid to every detail was evident in the lodging (a cabin for us) and the delicious breakfasts and afternoon treats. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Hank and Wiley couldn't have made our mini-honeymoon any more enjoyable. They greeted us getting out of the car, had huge chocolate covered strawberries in the fridge and a card in our room, delicious breakfasts were delivered to the cottage each morning, and the couples massage in our cottage as well. We couldn't have imagined a more relaxing and enjoyable...

My husband and I took a quick weekend to the Luray area to hike a bit and do some wine tasting. This is a lovely B&B with very nice owners. They provided a lot of recommendations for us and made great breakfasts. We were staying in the cabin, so the breakfast was brought in a picnic basket each morning to...

Piney Hill is a top-notch B&B and we were amazed at the hospitality, cleanliness and value. We spent a weekend away in Luray and found Piney Hill on Trip Advisor. We were originally looking at staying on the Skyline Drive at Skyland, but for just about the same price we were able to stay in the Hurley Byrd Cottage at...

This was our vey first stay at a B&B and it was amazing. Wiley and Hank are naturals in the hospitality business. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. Hurley Byrd cottage is just lovely. All the comforts of home are available and then some. The B&B and cottages are very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts are delicious,...

We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts over the years. Hank & Wiley are the best innkeepers by far! Many personal touches, unbelievable food and goodies. Their warm hospitality was so impressive we hope to return soon. The inn is cozy and their attention to detail is refreshing. When we left we said goodbye to new friends instead of...

Located in the great little town of Luray, we stumbled upon a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Walter Rogers room on a Friday and Saturday night. The owners (Hank and Wiley) greeted us at the door, with not only great information about the house and area but also warm cookies, right out of the oven. The room...

Thank you so much Suzanne for your wonderful review. Wiley and I are so glad you two enjoyed your special getaway! The hiking here in the Shenandoah Valley is so nice and we have so many different trails to explore. As far as your french toast, I am sure you are just being modest!
