A nice place to stay, cosy and not far from the train station. You can use the kitchen to prepare your own food and there is a possibility to do your laundry. We liked Flagstaff anyhow and it's a good place to go on to the Grand Canyon: we took the Arizona Shuttle.

There is much to be said about the Grand Canyon International Hostel, all good of course. First the location is perfect, well within walking distance of downtown Flagstaff. The facilities like other hostels I’ve been in (ex. Alaska) seem a little older but are well maintained. The customer service was great; I called ahead to book but decided to get...

This place is pretty shabby, even as far as hostels go. It's a bit overpriced, as well. But it's location is good and you will get a chance to meet some travel mates if you need. There are a lot of internationals here with no car, so they'd appreciate someone to carpool with if you have extra room in your...

The hostel is located in Flagstaff's historic district. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. If you don't have a car I can recommend the hostel's Grand Canyon tour. Met some cool people there and we rented a car for some more hiking in the Canyon. The hostel also offers free pick up from the Greyhound station. Fairly clean but...

My brother and I stayed here the night before we headed up the Grand Canyon. Incredibly cheap compared to other places in the area! Great service, clean, felt safe. There is free parking, and the hostel provides towels and bedding. The bathrooms were nicer than expected too. If you are a young traveler who needs a cheap place to stay,...

I was traveling in July and was staying here for 2 nights. It is very easy to get to from the train station and downtown Flagstaff. It was also the cheapest hotel in the downtown area. The hostel itself is "rustic" (it's nice, but needs a little TLC). I loved my room because it had two windows which were great...

Staying at a hostel provides a nice, homey type of atmosphere, unlike most hotels. Everyone was very friendly. We chose the hostel because it was in a great location, close to downtown with restaurants and bars within a short walk. Our room faced the main street in front of the hostel, which was very noisy on Friday night, but much...

I have never stayed in a hostel before and was very happily surprised about the rooms and sharing accomodation. The room I stayed in was a 4 bed room (two bunk bed) which cost $52 for two nights. It was basic, not much room to fit suitcases and bags in. However I was taken in by the charm of this...

Comfy and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. First place i stayed at that offered breakfast and actually supplied it! Worth every cent. I highly recommend both the hostel and the town of flagstaff its self. Great place to visit!

Clean, easy to locate. Nothing fancy but beds were comfortable enough and bathrooms were clean. Located on a nice walking street in Flagstaff. Breakfast with a piece of fruit (!) was better than most hostels, and they actually had drinkable coffee.
