We stayed one night in Sep 2021 on way to Grand Canyon. Room was on side of hotel and fairly quiet. It was clean and had been refurbished although still dated. Glad they had hot breakfast again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel's Favourite
Whenever we are in Flagstaff this is our go to place for a great stay. The rooms are always spacious and the service is as good as it gets. The morning breakfast is my favorite of all the Hilton brands. Nothing like waking up to a nice freshly cooked omelette. There had been some nasty weather just prior to our arrival and there was no Internet on the 2nd and 3rd floor until the 3rd party vendor could get the Internet up and going again. So I walked around the hotel with my iPhone looking for a WiFi connection and discovered it is working great on the 1st floor so the nice young lady at the front desk moved us into room 104. That’s what I call great customer service. I was also allowed

I have stayed here several times in the last decade and was worried when I saw a few bad reviews about this hotel. Thankfully my fears were mostly unfounded. The room was clean and while there’s some wear and tear and a lumpy pillow or two, nothing that would prevent me from staying again. Sure, it could use some updates, but it’s clean and comfortable and that’s all I really ask. I will say that for as much money as we were spending, things could have been improved slightly. We had to go down and ask for a hair dryer as there wasn’t one when we arrived, the volume on one of the TVs doesn’t work, one of the washers and one of the dryers is broken, and there’s no ice machine so you have to get these weird pre-made bags at the front desk. But a bee hair dryer was delivered promptly by staff and overall these are minor details - cleanliness is my #1 priority. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was crowded and chaotic as the hotel was sold out. It offered the usual embassy suites fare with made to order options, no complaints. The highlight of the hotel is not the snacks and free drinks at the managers special, but the gentleman pouring them - the bartender Willie. Have a chat with this fine gent and it will improve your day no matter how great it already was.

Thank you for taking the time to share with me. I apologize for the inconveniences that you faced during your stay with us. This is a work in progress with new staffing and trying to get back to normal. I am diligently doing all in my power to reestablish the brand expectation. Housekeeping stayover service is every 3 days unless requested for service As for the condition of the property. We were set for a remodel last year which was postponed, and we are looking at 2022 now. I know this does little for your current stay, but I just wanted to let you know that I value your loyalty and am doing my best to address the issues aforementioned. At your service Sincerely The Embassy Suites Flagstaff Team

The room was not well maintained. The carpet was torn and the ceiling was peeling. The dining staff were excellent while the desk staff were “robotic”. I would not stay here again..really considering whether to stay at another Hilton property.

I don’t like to leave a negative review, but I’d like to leave an informational one. I read the reviews before booking, and the manager’s responses indicating that he is aware that a renovation is overdue but didn’t happen due to covid. So I did lower my expectations ahead of time. There were good things too - It just depends on what type of things bother you and what doesn’t. PROS: * The beds were comfortable and clean * The bath/shower area looked somewhat new and was clean, with clean grout and clean fixtures. We all thought the shower was awesome - great water pressure! * Suite style setup, so 2 TVs (one in each room) * One of us used the pullout couch and said it was very comfortable * Great breakfast - Made to order omelets plus typical hotel breakfast food * Convenient guest laundry - $2 coin op (2 washers/dryers, although one of each was out of order) CONS: * The living room furniture is WAY beyond it’s expiration date. Brown stains (!), shredded fabric, fabric darkened/oily in “used” areas. We had to put the spare blanket from the closet on top of the couch; I just couldn’t sit there. (This is NOT a cleaning issue. It’s a replacement issue.) I can’t believe any hotel would keep these items in operation in their current condition, covid or not. * The carpet felt sticky/tacky * The fridge was barely colder than room temp; not sure it was even working at all * Guest computers/ printer do not have any updated browsers (no chrome, Firefox, etc) so you can’t access (or print) anything from any site that uses those, and they don’t have an AirPrinter In general the price point is currently too high given the above issues. The location is great though, and it would be great to see this place after they renovate.
