I stayed in the cheap single-person wagon for the night and it could not have been better. The wagon was super comfortable and had everything I needed for the night. The unique feel combined with the rock-bottom price made it an ideal fit for me. The bathroom is just around the corner. It has hot water and is very clean....

We stayed here three nights while visiting TRNP. It was comfortable, clean and a wide variety of dishes and cookware. You should take your own toiletries and some laundry soap. We stayed in Libby's Loft. It was nice that you can chose the number of rooms you will use and pay accordingly. The price was very good.

We stayed at one of Mary's cabins in mid May. It was perfect for our needs, we made breakfast, left and often didn't return until sunset. The bed was very comfortable, the cabin was clean and well kept. If our travels bring us this way again we will stay.

Custer's Cottage was ideal for a 'base camp' for exploring the nearby TRNP. We ranged off-trail for 2+ days in the park summiting many remote buttes. It was a pleasure each day to come back to the quiet neighborhood and kick back. Everything you need is right here. Kitchen appliances were awesome and allowed us to relax and cook our...

We stayed in the basement unit of Custer's Cottage for two nights, on a return trip from Yellowstone. We ran into some bad weather (an ice storm in July to be specific), and needed to arrive late. Mary was tremendously accommodating and met us late. If you are expecting a glamorous condo, this is the wrong spot. If, though, you're...

This place is great: friendly, close to town, reasonably priced & a great experience all around. "Glamping" (glamorous camping) at its finest! I can't speak to the actual cottages, as we stayed in the Wooly Wagons, but what a unique camping experience. Two of us stayed in one of the wagons for a girl's weekend at the end of May....

We stayed on the main floor of the house. It was very clean and well equipped. Mary was helpful in getting settled, and making reservations went smoothly. We were able to pick which rooms we wanted, and she locked up the others so they stayed clean. The beds were comfortable as well. We walked into Medora several times, it is...

We are annual visitors to the beautiful town of Medora, ND, and every year we always stay here. It is wonderful to have your own house to stay in while on vacation, especially somewhere quaint, where you go to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the Badlands. Now granted these homes of Custer's cottage are not brand new, nor are...

The host Mary is very patient and helpful. I slept in the wagon at a very reasonable price. The experience is unique. I had a good time staying there, and would recommend to friends. Besides, it is really close to the national park. You cannot go wrong.

Let me start my review by saying, if you are looking for higher end accomodations with all the extras this is definately not for you..however-if you want an inexpensive, clean place to stay for your visit to Medora then I highly recommend this place. This is a privately owned older house and you can either rent the main floor of...
