We loved this hotel! The location was perfect...walking distance to the pier filled with restaurants, bars and shopping. The rooms were spacious and interesting. We were in 121, which had a sitting room separate from the bedrooom and it overlooked a deck, so we could open the door for fresh air. The hotel also offered great amenities: jars of cashews...

I really am the type of person to research, research, research before booking any hotel stay. I can soundly say that any other Newport visitors can stop researching once you get to the Mill Street Inn. It really was a phenomenal stay. Our room reminded us of our own little studio apartment... high ceilings with brick walls. Amenities and turn-down...

Dear pianoemily, We sincerely appreciate such a wonderful review! We love the exposed brick in our rooms as well and try to keep our amenities and reading materials varied and interesting. Our housekeeping team is great and work really hard at keeping the building clean for our guests and love when their work is appreciated so thank you! We hope...

stayed here for a wedding in Newport. The underground parking is challenging, and the lot outside is not easy to maneuver either. However, the breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the location terrific for walking and enjoying Newport. We did have an issue with lack of hot water, as, apparently did some other guests. We were finally told...

Two girlfriends & I spent a night here to celebrate an important birthday. The hotel was beautiful with a very modern, but warm vibe. Clean & comfortable, staff was very helpful. They even gave me a jump when we discovered my car battery had died. Would go back next time I want to visit Newport.

Truly a wonderful place to stay while in Newport. Within walking distance of historical sites, shops and dining. Extremely comfortable accommodations in a very unique setting. The daily breakfasts were among the best we've ever enjoyed. The staff, especially Caron, were extremely welcoming and gracious. We'll definitely return when next in Newport!

Stayed at the Mill Street Inn and loved our stay. Hospitable staff, large suite with ample room for my husband and I to stretch out. We walked to Cliff Walk and restaurants on Thames with ease. Having a parking spot was great and only moved the car for Flo's Clam Shack in Middletown and dusk drive on Ocean Drive.

After reading the great reviews I had high expectations for the hotels and sadly was disappointed. I'm not sure if it was room specific so if your going avoid room 207! I also found it odd they didn't ask how our stay was when we left. PRO's - *Location, located 2 blocks north of Bowen's Warf it was easy to...

Spent the night at Mill Street Inn for a quick Newport stay. The place had a real tranquil "spa" like feel. The rooms were clean and modern. The service was great. Room had a personalized welcome note ....greeting you by name. Complimentary water and snacks (cashews, chocolate covered pretzels, oranges) were placed in the room for us. During the evening...

Mill Street Inn is a find. We purchased a two night package with a voucher for the White Horse Inn and two passes to any mansion. We found this to be a great deal. The hotel itself is well located; we enjoyed walking "home" from our activities through the beautiful neighborhood. Our room was big, quiet, and the bed was...
