We spent a weekend at this little Hotel or Lodge, to explore Historic Newport Rhode island. The Inn is Centrally located with all amenities within reach. All in walking distance. We walked into a time capsule. The Inn shows all the signs of History, but with ALL the update Quality of a modern Hotel/Inn. Place is extremely clean, updated, quiet...

Our room was very small, but comfortable and clean. Tea time, between 3:00 and 5:00, was enjoyable. The continental breakfast was better than average. My favorite was the birdcage off the lobby with 5 vocal parakeets. The location was central to everything downtown.

The Americas Cup Inn is a wonderful place to stay in downtown Newport. Antique style with a casual, homelike feel. Tea and snack at 3:00 when we checked in was a nice welcoming touch. Feels like your staying at your classy grandmothers house. Close to walking to all the shops and restaurants - parking across the street. Reasonable price- great...

A large B&B with pleasant, reasonable accommodations. The buffet breakfast was the star: what didn't they have? There were eggs (three kinds), sausage, bacon, a variety of fruits (whole fresh, cut fresh and dried), cold cereal, granola, oatmeal, cold cuts, cheese, pancakes, waffles, cakes, breads, bagels, fresh preserves, I'm probably forgetting things. It took a lot of willpower not to...

We've been visiting Newport on New Year's Eve for many years. Have stayed at the Marriot, Newport harbor hotel and marina, and several other inns. We prefer the America's Cup for their suites and location/ Love the fact that it is right next to Buskar's if the temp is too cold to venture farther. Staff is very friendly and attentive....

Went in December and was pleasantly surprised that there was free parking. Walls in the room were a bit thin so we could hear when anyone came in the building (we were on first floor), and room is a bit out dated but it was cozy. Such a great location, we could walk anywhere in town from the inn. Breakfast...

I stayed here a few days ago and loved my room. The bed was nice and comfortable and everything was very clean. I am thinking of coming back in the springtime for a few days and staying here. I live in Worcester, MA and find a few days in Newport, RI to be a lovely respite. It is a charming...

historic complex..I believe it was built in 1819? consists of a two or three buildings. We booked what is what they call a two-bedroom suite (rooms 505 and 506). Located in the corner building, on the top floor, which is the 3rd floor. Let me explain..this is NOT the Marriott, but it was clean, and kept up. you walk up...

I had visited this location 2 years ago and since we liked it so much the first time, we booked here again! Got a very different room this time and it was lovely! The staff was accommodating and their breakfast / tea time was delightful. We checked in late afternoon and we were able to drop our bags in the...
