We loved every moment in this charming, well-located and beautifully maintained bed and breakfast. Close to Bowen's and Bannister Wharf and yet quiet and private. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely go back to the Almondy Inn.

We stayed at the Almondy Inn for 2 nights in December. The inn is perfectly located, a short block to Thames Street and the bay. There is free parking (a huge asset in Newport) and our room was lovely with a gas fireplace and a view of the bay. Evelyn is one of the most charming and accommodating innkeepers we...

From the moment we walked in the front door, we knew we made the right choice. We were greeted by the lovely Evelyn who is as warm and charming as the inn itself. She kindly directed us to the off street parking located at the backside of the inn. Once we parked the car, we did not use it for...

My wife and I just returned home from our first trip to Newport where we stayed at the Almondy B&B. The location is on a quiet side street but just a block away from the wharf where we found great places to eat and shop. Almondy B&B is beautifully refurbished with modern amenities yet classic charm for the period and...

Central location in this fashionable and busy resort. We thought Almondy Inn was fair value and we enjoyed our stay. The owners are very keen that you are comfortable and have everything you need. Our room was nicely appointed with a recently refurbished modern bathroom. The complementary glass or two of wine around 5.00pm is a nice gesture. Breakfast is...

Our stay at the Almondy Inn was absolutely wonderful. Evelyne is the perfect hostess and from the moment you step through the door you feel at home. In a world of faceless chain hotels with vending machines and identical decor the Almondy Inn is an oasis of tasteful elegance and personal service. The whole house is beautifully decorated and accessorised,...

Herber and Evelyne Valkenberg are an example of the perfect host and hostess in a boutique-bed-and-breakfast environment. Personal and refined touch all the way. We enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you for 4 wonderful days!

Just a very enjoyable experience starting with our charming innkeeper, the full and delicious breakfast, the comfortable room, beautifully restored home and very convenient location. It will be our first choice when we return to work Newport.

Enjoyed our quick, one night visit at the Almondy Inn. We were in the Lanai Suite which has two rooms and a balcony. The bathroom is large and totally modernized. The bed is very comfortable. The inn keepers are friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast was delicious. Can't find a single thing about which to complain.
