Our first visit to Newport was delightful. We enjoyed the mansions, the Cliff Walk , shopping & the Tennis Hall of Fame. Mark, at the Marshall Slocum Inn, is the most inviting host/owner/chef of this wonderful little B & B. His blueberry stuffed french toast was yummy...still having dreams about it! It is worth staying here just for the breakfast...

Me and my husband both were very pleased with this B/B hotel. There only 5 rooms or so and the property is very well kept and cosy. Unique atmosphere, clean, old fashioned in a good way. Great location: walking distance to the pier and other attractions. Did I mention VERY CLEAN? They cook your breakfast to the oder and it...

Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that you had a pleasant stay with us. We have iPads with Netflix in the majority of our rooms in lieu of televisions. We have a television in the common area of the Inn for guests to use. For those who prefer a television in the room, we do have...

We had a wonderful stay at Marshall Slocum during out girls trip to Newport in August. There were 7 of us ladies and we were treated wonderfully by the staff and the rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. No bagels or muffins here! You had your choice of delicious omelets, pancakes and French toast each morning....

We really enjoyd to staying one night in the guest house. Location close to Newport downtown was great, only 5-10 minutes nice walking. Breakfast was from the menu and served to the table in the nice garden terrace. We would like to come again....

We stayed at the apartment-style lodging for one night only (unfortunately!). It was a great space, clean linens, newer bathroom, squishy high bed with footstool even. Very cute and loved that it was set apart from other rooms. Plenty of space for even a small family to stay for a few nights. We didn't use the kitchenette area but had...

Very personally run B&B with nice, clean rooms, attentive service and an excellent breakfast. Walking distance to the mansions and waterfront. Quiet area, beautifully renovated old historical mansion.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary several years ago and had a great experience! Our room was lovely and I think it was considered one of the smaller of all the rooms. The bed was so comfortable and the furniture was gorgeous. This place has a great location where you are right between the mansions area and...

Loved the location - off a quiet street in Newport, within walking distance to the Cliff Walk, marina, and other restaurants. Mark and Lauren were so helpful with recommendations and were around during the day and early evening which is nice for questions and recommendations. Marks breakfast of a Portugese omelet was delicious, and he let us use their bikes...
