At the end of our New england trip we decided to spend 2 days in Newport. The big problem was to find a B&B that would accomodate children. Se we were happy to get a room at the Architects'Inn where our 5-year-old was welcome. The rooms were very nice with large bathroom, the breakfast and the afternoon cookies also very...

I am so sorry about your experience at the Architect's Inn. We did just replaced the cleaning person because of lack of attention to detail. Usually this is not the case and if I was aware of the situation, I could have resolved it immediately. We always ask if there is any problems with the room, to tell us when...

Thank you for making my first trip to Newport a memorable one. The Architect's Inn was charming and customer service was a "perfect 10". The owners were in constant communication prior to our trip regarding the best restaurants and sights to visit while in Newport. Dave was the "host with the most" and went out of his way to ensure...

This place is WONDERFUL! The owners, Nick and Brian, along with David, made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and never let up. It is such a quaint (and very clean) B&B, with charming touches and lots of character. They gave us great local recommendations for restaurants, shops and bars, along with honest advice on which mansions...

Words can't even begin to describe the accommodations this quaint bed and breakfast has to offer. We went with a group of 6 friends and each of us were blown away. David and Nick were there to greet us with fresh cookies and smiles. They immediately gave us a tour of the house, our quarters, and Newport on a map....

My college friends and I wanted to experience a town we had never been ... we thought Newport would be great. We did not realize it was Folk Festival there - and the hotels were crazy expensive. I was lucky enough to find Architects Inn - what a blessing in disguise! The place was unbelievable and beyond charming! The gentlemen...

It was simply the most perfect place to stay in Newport.Once inside the home, you quickly get the feeling that you are in Newport, a town of elegance and beauty. The house feels very much like a typical Newport mansion, with large grand...

I've been to Newport a number of times & have stayed at the Architect's Inn twice over the past 2 years--once with some friends and once with my parents. Both times were really wonderful. Nick and Brian could not have been more friendly or hospitable. The house itself is on a lovely residential street and within easy walking distance to...

My husband and I decided to spend a night at Architect's Inn to celebrate an early anniversary (we are expecting our first child on our actual anniversary next month). We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The room (Belmont Room) was very romantic and peaceful (surrounded by trees on the outside). Nick met us at the door and seemed...

We will remember the Architects Inn for a number of reasons. The beautiful bedroom with the comfiest bed ever & the gourmet breakfast. It is set in a quiet leafy road & yet only a mere 10minutes or so from shopping ,restaurants & a great cliff walk. Above all we will remember Nick the Innkeeper for his friendliness & obvious...
