They always need to readjust our rooms when we arrive as they seem to give away one of the rooms that was a connecting room. They always make it right and better though. The bathrooms are a little sad showing their age but I hear they are due for a makeover! Can't wait.

This hotel is fantastic! This is on par with the serene atmosphere of a Shangri-La. The staff is amazing -- friendly, attentive, prompt, and responsive. Especially Paul, a manager for the outdoor pool and beach activities. The amenities are just right -- not too much to over-extend staff, not too little to get bored. The room was more than we imagined (suite). Full-size living room, two FULL bathrooms, both with deep tubs, showers, and dual vanities.

We chose this hotel of dining here in the past, online reviews, and web page. Upon arriving, all expectations have been surpassed. All our requests were met happily and immediately, so much so that we are planning to return in the near future. Staff is courteous, happy, professional, to speak too. The food in all the restaurants that we have eaten in, has been simply delicious!!! The facilities here at the Kahala, such as the shuttle service, (we made most use of this feature), concierge, front desk, most helpful... The only thing this "eden" requires is an ice cream shop!

I have always loved the Kahala. On this trip my wife and I were fortunate to bring our two sons and one's girlfriend with us. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with adjoining guestroom. The spacious rooms were perfect, the view was stunning, and with five people, the third bathroom in the parlor was much appreciated! Our younger son proposed to his girlfriend on the beach at sunrise. What a wonderful trip, and one the Kahala will always be a part of.

My family and I love the Kahala Resort. We were told at the front desk that we would be given an upgrade to a BEACHFRONT room, however after checking in we got a beach VIEW room. It was disappointing but still good!!

We have been to Hawaii several times and even cruised the various other islands. My wife and two of our grand daughters made this trip. From the beginning you could feel the exceptional service and care that we received from everyone. The bell hops, front desk, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant personnel, rental car person and everyone else were very helpful, friendly and wonderful. The Hotel is excellent. The food in the restaurants was delicious. The beach and pool and fitness center and all the accommodations at the Hotel were wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Based on my experience no changes are necessary. The resort and restaurants are great. I highly recommend this resort. It is great for kids and the beach is easy for little ones to enjoy. The dolphin experience is great and I highly recommend it.

If you dont care for the waikiki scene, this is the place for you. Its almost like landing on Maui, and taking the Highway to Hana, Leaving the hustle and bustle of La Hina and such behind, including all the crowds, and driving back in time to a more serene time when Hawaii was more Aloha and less Go go go... relax and unwind

We have stayed at The Kahala Hotel & Resort a few times now, and the experience is consistently excellent. The rooms are very nice, with very attentive housekeeping staff. The grounds are beautiful, with both access to a nice pool and the beach; the dolphins in the lagoons provide nice company while lying by the pool! The breakfast buffet is one of the best on the islands, serving both Western and Asian options; service at the restaurants are outstanding.

We treated our family to this stay and it's a great place to be with two little kids. It wasn't very crowded, and it made it very relaxing. Private beach and the pool at your doorstep, great room with spacious bathroom, and kids especially lived the dolphin pool. We had however a couple of miscommunications with staff, the hostess lady at nearby pool restaurant (beach grill) was rude when approached and not willing to assist. Other than that we loved our experience!
