very nice resort, secluded beach. Staff are friendly. The room is big and very clean. I really like the fact that they have housekeeping service often enough to keep our room clean and well supplied with towels, shampoo, even leave water bottles for us (for free!).

If you're looking for a resort away from the chaos of Waikiki, this is it. You feel like this is your own private resort. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is wonderful and friendly. It is a bit pricey, but the food and atmosphere is second to none. Shuttles are available to take you into Waikiki. Just a wonderful experience.

The most beautiful ocean view and a most charming olde world hotel with a unique dolphin pool - Need I say more! Warm, friendly and helpful staff everywhere added to the delightful experience. Ocean view room is a must. We slept with the windows open - natural air conditioning with the sound of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep....

What a great experience! It was our forth time in Oahu, and Kahala was the best hotel for sure! Rooms are big and comfortable, just as the bathrooms! Pool is warm, the beach is so beautiful and service is perfect! Also, breakfast is very good! Only 7km away from busy Waikiki, with it's private beach, I think it's the perfect...

The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Our only suggestion is to ask about transportation. We didn't feel it was easy to get around the island and shuttle service needing a reservation was an inconvenient. Better if on a more frequent schedule so we didn't feel rushed to make the shuttle if knowing another one...

I love the Kahala experience: Helpful staff (such as Rick at the front desk who took the time to use a satellite photo of the northeastern shore to help us locate a beach we had found four years ago during another stay, but had not been able to relocate on our own while driving around), knowledgeable concierges (who told us...

Words can not capture how wonderful our experience was at Kahala. Great location too. Easy to get to Whole Foods, close to juice bars, and a short ride to Waikiki or hiking. Can't wait to return.
