All expectations met and/or exceeded. We arrived very late due to the poor equipment operated by American Airlines however our prayers answered as we entered our room at the RH. Comfortable beds and a full featured WC were just a few of the high lights. Def., recommend the crab omelet for breakfast

A beautiful classic hotel. Ambience is perfect, staff are courteous, hotel is clean. You really feel like you stepped back in time to the days of glamour. Aside from being on ocean front property, the hotel in itself is very inviting with its rich history. They think of everything to make your vacation ideal, from providing iPads loaded with their...

Expensive, they gouge you for ever penny. Long waits for breakfast & make you pay for coffee while you wait, they should offer coffee while you wait. New owners squeezing every penny out of the guest. Suprised this is a Starwood Property. Would stay next door at the other Star wood Property.

We could not fault the Royal Hawaiian. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, as are the gardens and the pool - a relaxing oasis in the middle of Waikiki. Our room in the historic section was lovely. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. In particular, Samuel from the Royal Hawaiian Bakery was such a lovely...

The best and beautiful part of this hotel is the first floor, definitely a nice stroll through the pink balance and many kodak opportunities. That's about the only reason to visit though. I would not stay here for the money.

We paid top dollar ($1,500 for 2 nights) to stay in the Mailani Tower primarily to enjoy the "club" breakfast and evening hors d'oeurves. Big disappointment there - the breakfast is a selection of pastries and coffee. We expected fresh fruit, selection of breads and breakfast meats. Nope. The evening spread was similarly sparse. This is definitely not worth the...

A second stay at the Royal Hawaiian - after our first 9 years ago. Last time, we had a room in the old part of the hotel, which had a great historic feel and a good view, but no balcony. This time, we went for a room in the Mailani Tower (room 1104), which had an excellent view and a...
