The Hale Koa as many know id limited to military and their guests. But if your retired military and staying next door at the Hilton Hawaii Village, don't miss the opportunity to stop next door for a meal, drink or even sit for a cocktail as you listen to live music or watch the sun set.....at a greatly reduced price....

The first time I arrived at the Hale Koa was 38 years ago when I was an active-duty E-5, and I remember thinking how amazing it was that the federal government had anything to do with this place. It was (and still is) an absolutely top-flight resort which rivals the best Hawaii has to offer, at a price that service...

Outstanding location, easy walk to many places and bus stops just across the street for the further sites. Pool and beach only steps away. Lovely grounds, set in a park like setting in the middle of town. Good sized rooms with nice amenities. If eligible, the prices beat other hotels in the area for similar rooms. Food good and reasonably...

IF you can stay here, DO SO! Incredible service, great accommodations and you can not beat the location OR the morning buffet! We took advantage of the spa with a deep tissue massage and then a magnificent and relaxing dinner at "Biba's". Try the filet mignon... superb! The front desk personnel bend over backwards to make our stay everything we...

My girlfriend and I spent spent two nights here in December and had a great time and equally good service. Our nights were at the the beginning and end of an eight day stay. The last night was on short notice as I made an error on other accommodations. I was taken care of in a most friendly manner and...

Stayed from December 29,2016 until January 5, 2017. A little dated, but the location, staff and ammenities make up for it, Make sure you do the luau and having a PX on site makes being able to afford a vacation on Honolulu much less expensive. The staff was amazing. Not sure about the on-site resturants, nothing to write home about,...

Been here three times with the family and each visit exceeds our expectations. The check-in process was smooth and fairly quick, and our rooms are always well kept by the house keeping staff. The properties are immaculately kept and the overall feel is lush and tropical. The Luau is a very entertaining experience with a satisfying meal that accompanies. Sunday...

I was here with my wife's family. Her Dad and two brothers are military personnel. What a great deal for our veterans! The hotel is on par with non- military hotels and is significantly cheaper. There is actually a PX on property! It's in a great area too. You're walking distance two many shoppes and several other resort properties. The...
