This hotel is right on the beach. The hotel parking is probably the cheapest in Waikiki. But it's a walk from the hotel, there's no short cut. It's close to everything and you can easily walk to the Ala Moana. It's a great hotel to stay at. Fort Derussy is right next to the hotel and it's a nice place...

The Hale Koa was absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Checkin was busy, but it moved at a fair rate, the staff at reception were great ensuring guests were fully informed. My room was lovely, bathrooms are great and my fantastic balcony overlooking the beach provided the most amazing sunsets each evening. The Hale Koa is more of...

Located right next to Hiltons on the beach. The location of this hotel can't get any better than this on Waikiki beach for the best price possible. The service is very friendly and take advantage of the concierge for the best deals on the island.

Throughout all of my military career, from tents, to ancient wooden barracks, to guest quarters in a BOQ, I have never experienced the luxury and atmosphere found at the Hale Koa. This location is ideal for a family and a well kept secret for couples meeting at a point on earth when one is stationed in the far east and...

We stayed here last year for only a week but decided to return again this year and we are staying for two weeks.. Our son and his family joined us from Texas for Thanksgiving. It is great facility on over seventy acres in a secured environment. Everything is here that you would expect from a 5 Star except the price....

we loved the location, the facility, the PX (so great to get everything you need right on site), the view and balcony, the staff, access to the beach, the welcoming orientation, the rates, and just about everything. So what would it take to be a five star - a little room upgrade - one bed had no end table, the...

A friend suggested we stay at the Hale Koa on our recent stay in Honolulu, as hubby is retired USA Reserve, so we did so, and were not disappointed. Located right on Waikiki Beach, and within walking distance of many eateries and pricey upscale shopping, the hotel offered almost anything one could want, AND for a very reasonable price. We...

My USMC retired husband and I have stayed here many times since our son, who is stationed at Pearl Harbor has lived there. The hotel is absolutely great! I have also stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki and the Hale Koa is so much better. The beach is wide with shallow water. The pools are so nice and the family pool...

This was a GREAT hotel for the price and location. We stayed Oct 20-26. I read some of the reviews with poor ratings to have an idea of what we might expect during my stay. I was very concern as I went with my wife, eight year daughter and three old son. I must say, we did not have any...
