This place is just wonderful. Feels like a private resort without the price tag. Very personalized service. I'm not an "old-timer" loyalist--I only began staying here last summer while here on business, and am on my third visit now as of May. I am sick to death of chain hotels, and the large hotels in Honolulu are especially disappointing, with...

We've returned to the Breakers a number of times over the years and love the venue and location. However its time for a bit of TLC (Tender Loving Care) - the old girl is rather tired and needs a good bit of attention. That's all that's needed - not overly worried about noise from street, chatter around the pool, or...

This hotel is magnificent, set in the former style of Hawaii, it offers very comfortable suites at a reasonable price, it's not 5-star, however, it's a fabulous star of its own. The staff are truly great and offer a very memorable holiday stay, always welcoming.

have stayed here for many years. we just love it. very quiet, super friendly staff, super clean and manicured grounds. the bloom is well off the rose, but the place is so well maintained and clean, but dated. the friendly staff is what makes the place--its like coming home every time you are here. close to everything, quiet, you can...

We've been staying here for years. Still our favorite oasis amid the glitz and expense of Waikiki, like stepping back in time. The pool area and pool are terrific. Rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable. The staff is wonderful in all ways. To be clear the rooms are a bit dated and in need of some touch up so...

We love this place! It is so groovy and relaxed. They make no pretentions about being flash. The beds are comfy. The rooms are spotless. The pool is lovely and right in the centre of everything that is happening, if you want to be involved - Lots of happy children. The staff are helpful, fun and informative. I love the...

We have stayed at The Breakers for over 40 years and it just keeps getting better. Super clean resort, only two stories high, wonderful and caring staff, small but great pool, cutest kittens in Oahu, extremely fair pricing, and surprisingly quiet. Did I mention the best general manager in the Islands? The location is very convenient to Waikiki beach and...

This is my third year at The Breakers and I absolutely love it. It's got that old Hawaiian charm with Japanese influence. Close to the beach (one block) and all amenities, it's a nice quiet hang out without the hustle and bustle of other hotels. Always try and request not to stay near the back of the building as the...

We stayed at Breakers because it is so affordable and not a high rise resort. What a good surprise we experienced- big clean air-conditioned room with a good bathroom and an enclosed balcony for only$150 dollars!! The location is very good-1 block from the beach and main shopping strip. We had a car, there are only six parking places at...
