Here's the deal - if you're on a budget but are looking for a 4-star equivalent hotel, as some people seem to be, keep looking (and good luck!). If you're looking for a nice, cheerful place to sleep and chill out when you're tired for all the activities Oahu has to offer, Ohana is an awesome value. I was very...

We stayed on the 19th floor. The elevator requires you to swipe your hotel key to go up to your room and it's a very touchy system you have to swipe it right otherwise it won't work - very annoying! Coming down the elevators is no problem as you don't need to use your room key. Room was neat in...

First, I should point out that we bid for this hotel on Priceline. Although I had a good idea I would land at the Ohana, I figured it was worth a shot. I only needed a one night's stay. The only thing impressive about the Ohana was the fact that it's outside appearance, and even that was only because of...

I've stayed twice at the Sky Court to attend the NFL Pro Bowl in February '04 and '06. I enjoyed both stays. The room rates are among the most reasonable in Waikiki. Front desk staff and concierge are always helpful and friendly. Couple of quirky issues are the slow elevators (not nearly as bad as have been previously chronicled), thin...

I recently stayed at the Ohana Maile Sky Court for 6 nights May 19-25. I love the hotel location on the west end of Waikiki. It was much quieter and less crowded than my previous stays mid-Waikiki. At check-in, I was given a room on the 41st Floor. After reading earlier reviews of elevator wait times, I was a bit...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Sky Court (May 27-30, 2006). Got a great deal through Travelocity and were very pleased with the hotel. We found the front-desk staff to be very friendly and courteous. The location was great - only 10 minute walk to the beach, and an easy walk to all Waikiki attractions. The rooms were good...

My husband and I stayed at the Ohana Maile Sky Court hotel in early May. We had a great trip. The room was small but clean and the housekeeping staff was very nice. Checking in/out was quick and easy! The only negative feedback I can give is about the elevators. I know this has been mentioned in a few other...

First of all, let me say this place was cheap, and being cheap I expected to get what I paid for, BUT my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel was MUCH better than we had hoped, our rooom was on the 10th floor (the elevators are'nt the greatest), and we had a partial view of the...

We booked the hotel for an amazing $58/night with some vigilant web surfing for deals,. We also requested a higher floor when we booked and ended up with a room on the 38th floor :) The staff that assisted check in was wonderfully welcoming room and our room was ready right at 3:00. When we checked in, although the room...
