We stayed here for a week in January. We did not have a car, but do expect to pay extra for parking privileges. What you need to know: 1. While not on the beach, this hotel has a fabulous location. It's about 3 blocks from the beach and in easy walking distance to a myriad of restaurants and shopping. 2....

Thank you especially for your comments regarding our hotel staff, which I will be sure to pass on to them. Stuff friendly, good location and not too far from the beach. Let's say 6 minutes walk. Also nearby the shops & with your room card you got free access to the pink line trolley. The rooms are normal standard with a little balcony. I saw from my room the beach.

Booked this in a package .... booked a twin room as I was travelling with a friend. Found out a few days before travelling that we had a queen bed & a sofa bed. I hate sofa beds & to me they are for a third person in a room or a child. Certainly not a second bed in a...

We booked our room through hotels.com and on the site it didn't state that we would be charged an extra $15 per day for a "resort fee". This hotel was by no means a resort. The rooms were nice enough but it was nothing beyond the standard cheap hotel room.

Aloha and Mahalo for submitting your review on tripadvisor. We apologize for the miscommunication regarding our resort fee. This is a standard now in Waikiki and we are working on the challenge of getting the message out. Thank you for your comment regarding our rooms being nice enough. We hope one day to welcome you back again. Island regards, Nora...

Room was for 4 of us. Consisted of a double bed and 2 sofas that were used. There was a nice bathroom with a good powerful shower. There was.a small kitchen area, with sink, fridge toaster and coffee maker. We had a balcony with chairs and small table. There was a jacissi and small pool off the reception. The hotel...

The Hotel is very clean and neat. My housekeeper was fantastic! The hotel staff and maintenance workers were unbelievably welcoming, helpful, cheerful, and truly care about their guests and security/safety. I will go back to the Malia next year--can't wait to see Manuel, Pam and Troy. Waikiki is getting quite busy and you can tell by the noise and traffic...

We stayed at the Outrigger Ohana Malia Hotel for a week this month while our son and his family stayed at our timeshare a held block away. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room faced Kuhio Street which is very loud at night. There is a bar kitty corner from the hotel which seems to attract really loud people who want get drunk and whoop it up all night long. Even when you close your balconey door, it is still very noisy. On top of that, the noise from the traffic and...
