The Luana is a nice hotel with kind and helpful staff. It is located next to Ft. Derusy Park and is a short walk to the beach, to the mall, and to all things Waikiki. It is located on Kalahua which is the Main Street in Waikiki and will take you straight to the shops, restaurants and the beach. My wife and I enjoyed our seven night stay and would recommend the Luana to anyone heading to Waikiki.

Found the staff to be friendly and liked that the room had a refrigerator, microwave and other appliances and utensils which was a plus as we used it during our stay. Reading the guest information sheet upon check-in, I noticed that admission to visit Bishop Museum was free by showing our room key to the receptionist at Bishop Museum. The history at Bishop Museum was worth the visit. We definitely enjoyed our time at the Luana.

Price was right …good location Ft DeRussy 10 minute walk to beach thru park ,,,nice kitchen in large room with balcony ,,,nice breezes ,,,,,nice staff, very clean ,close to restaurants, etc , Bed was soft for me and sheets ill fitting , if i come again i would get room facing different direction for less traffic noise

This was the most wonderful place to stay. The staff knew my name from day one and anytime they saw me called be by name. They did the same for my parents that were staying there as well. Very quiet and relaxing. The valet Cyrus, was a pleasure and made buddies with my 9 year old. He also made sure to help my mother in and out of the car with her cane and had all the patience when we took a bit longer to get loaded up. He was fantastic.

Fantastic accommodation, we had a 1 bedroom suite and it was really good. Nice big kitchen and lounge area and the bedroom was super big and very comfortable. The room service was also very good. The suite had a lovely balcony which overlooked the park and was a real suntrap. The hotel staff were super helpful, nothing to much trouble. Highly recommendable.

Aloha 989fretaj, We are glad you had a wonderful holiday!!! The one bedroom suites are nice and spacious, with a comfortable living room area with a full kitchen (including a dishwasher). The lanai is a great place to enjoy the view of the 71 acre park and if you are above the 5th floor, you are able to view the deep blue Pacific Ocean. Very willing to make the stay very enjoyable. Rooms great. Amenities good. Nice next to the park. A bit of a walk to main area. But closer to the friday and sunday music venues. Grocery shopping close by. Bus transportation is very easy. Hotel has wine and cheese nights mon ' Tues and Friday.

We had 6 rooms for 13 of us. The hotel was wonderful. Beautiful and great location. A nice walk through a beautiful park to the beach. Amazing views of the water from our balcony. Loved it. Felt very safe and comfortable walking around the area the entire time of our stay. The elevators had a lot of issues where we were there and it seemed like it was a common theme for the staff. The reservation and computer system was a bit convoluted and made our check-in extremely slow. We somehow talked to the national reservation system and the front desk at the hotel as we made reservations. They have 2 different systems of accessing reservations that aren't linked making for some very confusing moments. Overall wonderful especially for how much less it was than some of the places nearby.…
