Three night stay was reasonably priced-generous breakfast with to-go bag saved us eating out one meal a day. Patio tiny, tiny but looked out at Diamondhead where the sun rose in the morning-beautiful! Could walk out on patio to see the ocean. Valets incredibly helpful and courteous. 22nd floor-no night noise at all and very well maintained. 12 year old...

I loved staying here. As it was our first trip to Hawaii, we wasn't sure what to expect, what we would really like to do here, what the people would be like- but wow, we was impressed!! The staff here was ever helpful, from helping uscwith the Internet connection at the pool, to the Expedia desk staff constantly helping us...

We stayed here on the back end of our cruise. We got of the cruise ship and was at the hotel by 10 a.m. Check in was at 3 p.m. They would not allow us to check in. I was not feeling well so they were able to find a lesser room ( two double beds) and had it ready...

Aloha and thank you for reviewing our hotel. I believe that when you arrived here, we were short on rooms prior to 3pm. We always attempt to let arriving guests in early, but may not have exactly what they booked ready at that point. The room you stayed in has an unusual configuration, and we have beaded curtains in lieu...

Our first trip to Hawaii was perfect. The Aston was a pleasant hotel. We had an oceanfront room on the 10th floor. The view was gorgeous! Next time I would like to stay a couple more floors higher but we are still very satisfied. The rooms are small but we did not spend a lot of time there. The location...

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to write a review of the property. You are indeed correct; our location gives us a terrific opportunity to be family-friendly and to enjoy the peace and quiet near Kapiolani Park. I am also glad you had a chance to experience some of what Oahu has to offer - the North Shore...

The rooms have not been properly remodeled since the late 90's, and the free breakfast can, at very best, be described by saying, "well, it's better than nothing I suppose." The employees are all very pleasant and extremely helpful, and the overall condition of the hotel is OK, but the rooms are terrible!! The bathroom is appallingly bad, and sport...

Aloha - I am terribly disappointed to read your review. Please contact me at the hotel as I would like to personally understand what happened and see if we can make things right for you. The last renovation to our hotel was done at the end of 2006. We are currently laying plans for the next major work to our...

We were looking for an affordable hotel with oceans front rooms and this was it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The live music at breakfast was very good and the food selection was good as well. The Tiki Bar restaurant was really good as was the entertainment each night. We will for sure stay here again when visiting...

My friend and I were in Honolulu for a week doing the tourist thing. We stayed at the Aston because of its location and the convenience of tour pick ups. We did several tours and the buses came to the hotel to pick us up and bring us back. We caught the trolly there also. The room was a partial...

We stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel after staying at the Aston Kaanapali Shores Hotel, once again you do get what you pay for. The rooms are extremely small just the bedroom, very small balcony with one chair and small table and a very small bathroom with a shower in the bath. There are no tea making facilities which...

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to write a lengthy review! We appreciate you spending your vacation with us! You are correct that the Aston Kaanapali Shores is a condominium property, with sweeping Maui views and great service. We spent a week here in April 2012. Absolutely loved the location as it was easy to walk to everywhere in Waikiki. We liked being right across the street from the beach. The hotel rooms are clean. Bathroom is dated and tiny and musty smelling. The beds are super comfy. Didn't notice any bed bugs, although I didn't look too...
